1. Just wanted to thank the folks who 'liked' my page, it's a new band, but we hope to have something for you soon. Can't wait to get my headphones on and plow through some of your pages. If it's not too much trouble, my 'pop goes punk' covers band could REALLY use a boost, we've been stale on 'likes' for a long time, we have a 'Green Day covers Bonnie Tyler' type vibe going on! Lots of fun, always rebooked but rough and ready and impossible to capture faithfully anyway other than experienced first hand live, so word of mouth has been king for us for three years!! Huge thanks!!! https://www.facebook.com/mydesignmusic www.facebook.com/mydesignmusic
2. My walnut jazz has a very flat neck, makes for a great low action, very playable indeed.
3. No trades I'm afraid, if it wasn't a dire cash emergency it wouldn't ever be leaving my side!!
4. That's also a good shout. This link should actually work!!!! http://www.facebook.com/placebotributeband
5. What a great idea, I'm in a few bands, but this one is in the most need of likes and shares, simply because we are VERY new, no gigs or demos yet, as we're still in the rehearsal phase, ready to launch early this year. I'm Hoping to launch big too, and to dedicate all my musical energy to this band this year. It's a placebo tribute band. http://www.facebook.com/placebotributeband
6. Thanks, it is quite weighty, I'll include a comfort strap in the price!
7. Mine was ok, kinda fun, not the greatest, not the worst, but fun. Got home early too, back by 1:30!! I watched my iPad which I use for lyrics for time and we knocked out a quick punky version of auld langs wotnot, before making the first song of 2015 'Trouble' by Shampoo. Heheheh Someone plonked this hat on me, it wasn't the most comfy fit!! 8. After using top end cables like zaolla I switched to obbm cables, which I still have, but my 'go to' cables have become these !! https://www.studiospares.com/Cables-Leads/Leads-Guitar/Armoured-Jk-R-Ajk-5M_588620.htm Despite the price They sound good, even compared to my previous cables, but crucially, the coil up very easily and compact, the same way every time and don't twist at all. A brilliant buy.
9. I'm thinking it looks like something from the old eastern bloc
10. my fave bass ever; my 1990 MIJ jazz in sonic blue. Its had so many different forms and mods over the years and despite the pics (mainly iphone so not great) its actually really battered, worn chipped and dinged and looks great! Its my third ever bass and the one i had a picture of stuck in my school folder when i started out as my dream bass that i aspired to own one day. As it happens a year later i found mine going cheap in a local used guitar place which burnt down shortly after!, at a time when i could just scrape together the cash if i sold my other bass, the guy was very relectant to do me a deal but i managed it and legged it home to clean off the gunk which had lowered the price by £50 to something i could afford! Funnily enough not long after i met a guy who had gone in to buy it just after me! After over 75 other basses and three necks, two preamps, three or four sets of pickups, two sets of tuners (poss three) god knows how many other tweaks and hardware changes shes still my number one, despite a lengthy flirtation with warwick! (even then she was always onstage tuned up ready to go) heres a link to a set of pics of me 'n JB as its known from over the last 18 years we've been gigging together! I even played her at my wedding! The pics over the years are in this flickr album here.................. http://www.flickr.com/photos/34605698@N04/sets/72157623937813540/ Hope you enjoy taking a peek!
11. I really rate my Hercules stand, great bit of kit
12. I'll be playing at my local with my 'pop goes punk' style band. It's all a bit fluid in terms of start/stop time, my main two sets are these, but a third could happen if the drummer survives and folks want more. I should add that the 'pop songs' (and wonder wall) are all unique punked up bespoke versions, a bit 'Green Day-ish' I'm the singer/guitarist in this band though, no bass for me this year, even though our player uses my rig and fx. :-/

14. I had one in the early 90's. Looked lovely, but that was about it for me, I used to play a few old tracks on it for giggles now and then, but I was really into Flea, Bill Gould and likes in those days.
15. Not a bass, but my Chinese modern player Marauder is a fabulous instrument, built, and especially finished, to a very high standard. Easily a match for my Japanese Fenders, and the best set up I've had from any guitar, ever!
