I have an mb112-ii. Bought for practice/small gigs where my rig would be impractical. I have to say, it's a fantastic thing. Yes, don't expect cheat crushing low end at high volume, but it does sound damn good, and is loud enough for a surprising range of gigs, it's beautifully built too.

I wanted to send a copy of an old bands album to a mate, I didnt have one spare so I thought I'd pick one up from amazon for 50p, typically at that time the only damn hard copy I could find was a signed one that was on eBay with bids about £25. I decided not to bother.

I need one. I actually swear I NEED one!

I had a mint green, but it had to go back. Having owned five or six stingrays I found it very similar in tone, but not in construction, fit, finish or quality. In many ways I preferred it, as it really did feel like a stingray/mij jazz hybrid. However the neck was a total wreck. Felt great but waved around, causing tuning issues, terrible fretwork, unseated frets, truss rod didn't work properly, and all of the above conspired to make a set up almost impossible. Same as a Squier jag I just bought. Shame cause it looked great, although, as is often the case with rays it could be tonally a bit much and too powerful for very subtle accompanying compared to other bass choices. But for funk and rock it was ace. That silver really catches my eye, love it.

I just got a Squier VM jaguar from andertons and it arrived with just Allen keys. Sadly it also arrived with a nut that barely even had slots in?! Causing Crazy high action and making it impossible to intonate, and a dead first fret. Called them and they've arranged a collect on delivery exchange for Monday. Sadly can't guarantee a time slot, so might take god knows how long before I manage to get my hands on the new one if I'm out. Not best pleased, as I'd put new strings on, which they say they'll replace. But it's a pain. Good service so far though. I guess.
