1. I did the same thing. Taught me a whole new respect for singists too. I 'get' them slightly more now that I do it.
2. Which ironic given how battered it is lol.
3. Another happy Samson user here
4. Babies play mat on the right War machine and Halo toys on the left
5. Just realised I used it to do this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IbrUUT1XGY&sns=em Ignore the playing, its pretty shoddy, but gives a good look at the bass. Bridge pickup, tone rolled back into my rig recorded on an iPhone
6. Very cool, reminds me a tad of stabbing westward
7. tatty but cool richwood flying V. Frets aren't the tidyest and the electronics need work ( the pots don't do what they should, it needs wiring properly) but its a sound guitar that's quite useable as it is and is perfectly sound. Plays VERY well and sounds very nice. The action and set up is great, and it looks amazing, this is a really nice guitar. £70 collected only from Cheltenham. Again a meet could be sorted within a reasonable distance. Or swap for a power amp
8. Here's my basic guitar rig. Works fine for me though Peavey Bandit and a Harley Benton cab. Job done
9. No number on mine anywhere as far as I can tell. I'd love to know more.
10. Is that a recessed bridge I see on yours? Nice
11. Why one of those godawful boombuckers though. Why not just a normal pickup configuration so it can make normal sounds instead of a big wooly whumf. :-/ Rant mode off
12. I must admit that part I intend to fix asap. I've a cable shopping list for obbm as soon as I get some cash in and 5m speaker cables are on it.

I picked up this v100 on the recommendation of a basschatter then changed out the parts for a bathroom vibe Love it but les Paul's hurt my arm. Toying with selling it tbh. But I'm not sure it's worth it at the value. Damn cool looking though (imho!)
14. Sounds like a sound plan
15. Except in the Cotswold pub
16. Funny thing is I just used to detune a six string half the time
17. I know! Funny old world eh. I'll do it a few more gigs, just to see. We split both bass and guitar. In theory should be a horrendous mess. Maybe it's cause I leave space in the guitar lines. (being a bassist 'n all!)
18. At a recent gig I did with my 'guitar' band the new bassist explained he was having trouble hearing me, and could he have a guitar cab on my side of the 'stage' ( pub corner) (vocals only to pa) I explained that I understood it was a bad idea for blah blah technical reasons. Him and the drummer stared blankly. So come the gig I thought 'to hell with it' And stacked my 1x12 guitar combo on a 2x10 bass cab behind me, and my 1x12 guitar extension cab on a 2x10 cab behind him. It gets Worse. .. I Hooked up with obbm 5m instrument cables. Not speaker cables. Sounded great!?! So great even the audience noticed, loads of comments on it. The whole thing sounded 'bigger' Line up is guitar/vox bass/bv's and drums/bv's. One of those things I guess.
