1. Hey all. I bought this for my 'guitar band' but because I also take the pa I've only managed to use it once!!! Yep. Once. It's left the house once, and been used once from new. Which was the day I got it. Since then it's sat unused in my bedroom. I fitted some castors and extra rubber feet on each end to facilitate using end on with a combo on top. The one time it left it picked up a couple of minor scuffs in the tolex from being in the car boot. I've tried to capture them on camera, Infact I've made them look worse lol. This cab is very well known among those in the know, simply because it has two celestion V30 drivers in Which are great sounding drivers. The whole thing has a cracking Marshall'y vibe. I have the name plate, but it actually wasn't attached from new. I guess they just knew they'd be debadged at once heh heh. From thomann: Harley Benton G212 Vintage guitar cabinet - 2x 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, 120watts/8ohm, 2x 60watts/16ohm, mono/stereo thomann (switchable). Manufactured from 16mm plywood, black Tolex trim strip. Dimensions: 520 x 742 x 300mm. Weight: 25kg, I'm after a firm £100 collection ONLY from Cheltenham. 2. Yeah. Gutted :-( wardrobe literally crumbled this morning and I've no other source of income at all
3. Yeah. Poorly edited post lol, wasn't very clear!!! Don't want to part with it, but the furniture is falling apart so it's got to go :-( But really can't afford to post it insured, neck on I'm afraid. Or find time/packaging etc
4. Or since the wardrobe just disintegrated £150
5. I was right at the back, very similar thoughts. Amazing brass but sometimes too prominent. At times the bass got quite wallowy and hard to hear any definition at the low end, and sometimes coulda come up if I'm honest! But most of the time it sounded great and much better in the flesh than on YouTube etc. great gig, thoroughly enjoyed it.
6. I REALLY like the look of them! I started off with H||H back in the day.
7. I'll be there from about 4:20 in the bar on the park
8. Aw man. My first proper bass was a pearl white jbs. This is making me want another!
9. Hah hah. Forgiven I'm just amazed it's not a thread full of people saying 'bandit'
Guilty as charged, and with due apologies and pleas of mitigation (see below), etc.! For the record I had actually read the thread (honest!) - I just forgot. You may care to think of it as a senior moment and take it upon yourself to be appropriately lenient when sentencing.
10.
I would endorse Skank's suggestion of Peavey Bandits.
Ahem. First reply y'know
11. You see, the bandit will simply Never break. This problem solved
12. I must admit. I've collected it since issue 1. As I did with bassist. And it saddens me to admit to myself that I think I've lost interest. I've also found increasingly little to interest me. Think okay knock it on the head. Might move on my back collection of both magazines too.
13. I love it. Right up my street. If it had a maple neck both kids would be on eBay right now.
14. Without doubt!!!
15. hah hah if it happens i think id post in OFF TOPIC lol
16. Is it me or does the right hand seem to be moving much faster than it should be for the amount of notes played?, is its youtube thing? Love the tune, and the bass, and the playing style. Quite like the outfit too. VERY tempted to put a video of me in youtube playing in my wifes clothes now lol
17. Can't remember what I have and Havent posted so heres a bunch of stuff, just so I'm not just known as a crappy singer and crappy guitarist playing pop covers in dodgy pubs with a shaky rythm section. 18. Have you had a go on a momark yet? I've found my tube 800 sounds much more like a 'proper' amp than any of the other lightweights I've owned/tried.
19. Boxed with psu and printed manual.
20. Not had this long from on here. It's an awesome looking little box that does a ton of stuff. It's a bit complicated in some ways, but very simple in others, I've just used it as a feedback suppressor, but realised A I don't need it, and B well. Unless I can find a bassist the bands down the pan anyway so I'm shifting all the little extras I bought. £25 plus a couple of quid postage. 21. MyDesign has always been. 'good enough' simply from nessecity. It's less than a year old, and time was always scarce. So we hit the stage quickly, but we've found crowds just love the songs, they don't care about how right my chords are, how often the bassist drops a note or if I'm sneaking a cheeky peek at the lyrics. They're too busy dancing, I figure we'll get better through evolution. And we are
