1. Update: The cab is now pending collection. the head is still available however and I’m happy to post happy with £160 for the head. cheers
2. Selling due to moving to a small flat and looking to go to a headphone amp / DAW only setup for bass playing. Looking to go ultra portable / minimal Both head a cab in a great condition The cab used ONCE for a band practice and honestly since then just sat around - never gigged. Still has price tag on it…. The head has had more usage but only for DI in a signal chain for recording in home studio . Very light signs of use (small scratch in paint on top) The cab is the real star. Being only 19kg and skinny enough to carry around very easily. The head is similar to the RH units but stripped back interface (physical encoders) no presets etc. has a great dynamic compression and realistic tube distortion. Head is permitted to run without a cab connected too so it’s awesome for recording. happy to answer serious questions. Still have the invoice for this cost me nearly a grand. Owned from new. I think it’s a reasonable price - but if I’m way off let me know. Just want this to go to a good home and gain funds to buy a Darkglass Microtubes preamp so I can carry on playing without the rig. Comes with a brand new speakon cable too. if I don’t respond right away message me 07414928603 Location is EDINBURGH EH111RF
3. Hey guys! looking for a bit of advice, I have a musician Sterling that needs some electrical attention - could anyone recommend a guitar tech who could potentially fix (portsmouth/Hampshire) detail wise; when plugging in the jack I heard a loud buzz/hum (exactly the same noise as when you put your hand on the cable when plugged into the amp) I took out the jack plate to take a look; the wires looked connected but as I inspected one of the wires detached. Even when touching the wire to broken solder point the same loud buzzing noise continues. Which leads me to believe there could be more issues inside. im not up for DIYing this as I’ll probably burn the house down. any recommendations around portsmouth/Hampshire for a guy with the know how would be awesome willing to pay what ever is needed. Thanks all! rob
4. Nice! Thank you for the response. Yeah that would do nicely for sure. Will try and locate the original one first and if no luck the eBay one will do. I’ll try contacting Ibanez with the part number. ‘thank you for your help!
5. Heya guys! truss rod cover replacement for an SR1205 premium, how can one obtain such a thing. so I recently picked an Ibanez SR1205 off Facebook; I’ve seen this particular model change hands on Basschat characterised by its missing truss rod cover lol. man this bass is so good. Definitely a keeper needless to say the missing truss rod cover drives me crazy. wondering if one can be ordered, or someone has one to sell/ or can anyone point me to someone who could build one. thank you!
6. Bump: Postage available if 20 + postage added to cover cost of Hiscox bass hard case. I appreciate it bumps the cost up but provides peace of mind for safety during transit. thanks all!
7. Hey! I can't confirm exactly - but could try and get some measurements for you if it helps... pretty open with trades - its the only bass in my collection that I haven't bonded with, it just kinda sits around looking pretty. I willing to put cash towards a trade if need be. I mean its certainly a cool instrument. and had fun playing with it. I do like to experiment with all sorts of basses. because of all the positive comments I took it out and popped some new Roto's on it. almost had second thoughts haha!
8. Order #6534 Tobias Toby Pro IV Tobacco Sunburst serial: U05090251 Unsung (Korea) I believe 2010's Open minded to any trades, and will consider an offer. Few very minor finish scratches from clothing, which could be polished - but no dings or dents. Overall in great condition. Tone wise, this to my ear sounds like a darker more plummy Jazz, it's not a particularly modern sounding bass, deffo more leaning towards a vintage voice but that my opinion off course. Personally really enjoy the bridge pickup sound for bark'y articulate finger style. Both pickups together work well with a pick for a decant rock tone. 2-band active preamp is quiet with good headroom. My Thumb bass crosses paths tonally so to speak; hence the sale/trade. Only issue IMO is one of the bridge PU screw heads is a bit worn- It does still provide enough traction to unscrew - but I would approach with caution and be gentle, ultimately replace at some point. I think this bass would love a set of EMG soapbars, other than that its a solid bass with plenty of usable tones. let me know if you've got any questions I will get back to you. I am in the middle of moving house at the moment but will try and accommodate anyone who wants to demo the bass. I don't have my main bass rig set up at the moment so just a practise combo - you're welcome to come with your amp and try it out. Cheers!
9. Its a HW1! awsome basses! retailed for about £500 new back in the slightly good old days! glws
10. Last bump before eBay. gotta eat. THE G STRING IS FINE The bass has the original vintage bridge with grooved saddles. Essentially the string sits where ever you put it. its looking wacky in the photo because i had the neck off prior to taking the photo and didn't put it back properly. Will take 750 now. thanks.
11. Bump. New cash price if anyone is keen. Thanks
12. Again sorry about the radio silence. Please send a text 07414928603 if you need me. the Bass is still around. Apologies to anyone who send me a message and then didn't get a reply. Robert

17.
Stunning basses. The two concentrics give you just that bit more tonal control IMO. The two I had, had fabulous necks. GLWTS
Thank-you mate! i have a track with the jazz bass featured: https://soundcloud.com/robert-manning-music-1/in-the-darkest-place-full-length Robert.
18. NEW CASH PRICE: £[s]900[/s] [s]£780 [/s] [s]£[/s]750 Hello guys! I acquired this instrument after years of wanting it. Ive had a tonne of fun playing this bass, and made some great recordings in the studio. For the past couple of months I've found myself using my more modern instruments. Considering I do in fact have a Fender Jazz, which is pretty similar sonically, I feel it may be time to try something else; thats not to say you can't have too many Jazz basses, of course. This is more of a players bass. Condition wise, id say an over all 8/10. •Dated 2003, on the neck. •Concentric controls need cleaning as they stick a little bit. 5 minuet fix. •I'm based in Kingston Upon Themes, London. •You can come and try the Instrument and run to the my TC Classic 450 rig. Trade wise i am open but I'm looking for something a bit more modern. Warwick, Musicman, Spector etc...
