3.
So.....just spoken with eBay, they are aware of it - I'm sure your input has contributed to this Shonks!-and they've assured me that it will be taken down before it ends. we'll see........
hope so...what if I end up owning it for £600....I'll put it back on ebay and claim it's a genuine Rolex Bass made in Swtzerland
 4. in fact if its its still there I'm gonna bid £600 myself then refuse to pay it..that'll stop it..then I've mugged the seller...lol

 6. OK! call me a 'grass' if you want but if I saw someone being mugged in the street I'm not sure I could walk on by. this is a mugging too as far as I'm concerned and I can't stand by and watch the buyer being robbed. I sent two emails to the seller warning him but he's just ignored me. I just phoned EBAY customer services, even though I reported this, I have spoken to them now & I've reported it directly. They've assured me they're going to do something about it..... lets see....watch this space
 7.
Squier neck at best as well!
not even a Squier neck, the string tree 's in the wrong position
 8. ebay already threw this off, now he's back with a slightly more apologetic description, however, he's still trying to flog it as a genuine Fender and some poor sucker's bid £200....I reported it as a fake --you should too. Let's try and save the bidder's £200. Could go higher ...OMG http://www.ebay.co.u...%3D121696073812
 9.
Well that didn't last long. Eldest son was over from Prague for youngest son's wedding. Spotted the iStomp, though "what a fantastic idea", and it ended up in his case yesterday on the trip back. Never mind another one already ordered.
i knew they'd catch on...
 10. Boss GEB-7 EQ stomp box couldn't find GuyB on this forum so I'm privileged to be the 1st to leave him some feedback. a well used Boss GEB7 pedal arrived soon after sending the money via paypal as requested. the pedal was all he said it was, and sold to me at a great price with better than reasonable postage costs. he kept me well informed about dispatch times and tracking numbers etc. all concluded quickly and happily so on the strength of this transaction I can happily and highly recommend GuyB ........ indubitably!!! thanks GuyB
 11.
Yes. I have 3 of them They win
i got two...so far
 12.
At that price it's worth buying just on the off chance you need an effect one day. So I ordered one :-)
you wont regret it, but if you do gear4music are pretty good on refunds
 13. this began for me when i wanted an octave up octavider - geez they're a bit expensive. I was playing with a guitarist friend of mine (we play gypsy jazz) and when I solo, I thought id try and octave up, I thought I'd try a piccolo bass but then guitarist handed me his istomp box asked me to try it. it had 4 controls, the 1st and oct lower, the 2nd a 5th the 3rd and oct up, and the 4th 2 octs up. I had them all down and just used the oct up, the 3rd control, and it really did the trick - brilliant! The original signal is always present and the controls mix in the amount of generated octaves or 5ths. it works pretty well as a regular octave pedal too. With all the controls in it sound very similar to a hammond organ, pretty cool. hang on a minute though...that's not what the istomp is..what is it then I hear you ask...well....its a solid well constructed stomp box with 4 knobs and DC input. it doesn't use batteries, but it is the standard 9v and the input is standard polarity and size, an empty well constructed box, however, it's a blank canvas. Basically you need an iphone or ipad and you upload whatever pedal you want into it & there's about 50 pedals to choose from. Not all great for bass but there's quite a few that are. and the best thing of all....the stomp box itself is only £35 from gear4music and it comes with a power supply and the cable to upload. and all the apps are free....yep...free!! these used to be about £125 for the stomp pedal and the pedal apps about £5 each but because Apple Have changed the connection interface from the old 30 pin thing, Digitech haven't upgraded the firmware or hardware so the price hit rock bottom, you have to check it out. I bought two and its great to be able to choose from 50 pedals and pick what might be appropriate for a particular gig or just to play around with stuff you wouldn't normally bother with. I have to say the auto wah is brilliant, and there's some nice compressors, a Boss octaver, and Lexicon Reverbs besides others. Chorus, flanges, overdrives...and the list goes on! Don't buy them on ebay though, some poor suckers are still trying to sell them at the original price. or 2nd hand for more than they are new. They probably haven't heard about the price drop yet, or they're hoping you haven't. the snag!!!!!....you need an ipad 2 or iphone 5. ...so you can upload your apps to the istomp. Later ipads and iphones dont work apparently, but the apple ipad and phones before ipad 2 and iphone 5 might be good. There's reviews and comments all over the net so check it out....for £35 it's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. The power supplies are excellent too. They are good quality and capable of running several Boss type pedals at the same time which is useful in itself. Thats gotta be worth a tenner on its own...lol grear4music http://www.gear4musi...vZTExoC2Fvw_wcB demo https://www.youtube....h?v=hyr_2AIJFX8

 16. hello, for those of you that don't know me on this site (cause Ive been here a long time) I'm known to my friends and colleagues as Shonkers, Shonks for short, real name is Steve Shone. I've been playing since the age of 14, and professionally from the age of 19, Im now 61, so work out how long I've playing. My first job was taking over from Jeff Clyne (God rest his soul) in a British Fusion band called Isotope back in the 70's, it was down hill all the way from there....haha! I've played with quite a few celebs in my time and if you Google me you can check me out. You can listen to me on Soundcloud, just dial in Palmgrease, thats the name of my production company, look out for the black hand on a yellow background. anyway.... Im happy to give lessons and share my hard and long earned experiences. I charge £30 an hour but I'm not that strict on time if I'm enjoying myself...although you could be out in 10 mins if I'm not...hahaha! My lessons aren't formal and I have no qualifications at all...however.. I did the musician Union rock school tours several times with distinguished others. I've lectured at Leeds Uni and the Guild Hall. I've also taught some bass guitaring mastards...I mean masters and a few pop bassist too, but I wont name names to book or chat about lessons , email via this site and I'll get back to you promptly. (get the first two strings sorted and then you can go gigging before you know what the other strings are for)

 20.
Trades for what ole chap?
try me (without being offended when I shoot you down..
 21. a lot of interest from folks far far away. Not having a hard case for this makes it risky business to send in a cardboard box with only a gig bag & bubble wrap to protect it. Another thing, it's always preferable to 'try before you buy' I'm in Essex near Southend on Sea. Im willing to meet somewhere within reason. So please keep this in mind when making an offer, also regarding trades: please offer anything bearing in mind a refusal is nothing personal.... thanks guys s
 22. cool and easy transaction .... bloody nice bloke
