5. Oh yeah! I'm after a Boss RC-3 if anyone wants a trade
6. Neck is 'Precision' -ish the truss seems responsive, there's is bit of a buzz round the 5th fret if strung too low, but I think it can all be sorted with bit of patience and know how. That's a brass nut on it too by the way. I think for £50 I'm being a bit generous but I don't want to get busy with it right now so grab your chance. Re posting it: I don't mind if your paying the courier and you accept it as a 'sold as seen'. There's no case or bag with it, so it might mean a lot of bubble wrap, so I might ask for an extra fiver for packing it. Thanks for all the comments and observations about this, all very interesting. Re the remark about "how it got to Essex" I recently bought it from a guy in Suffolk, so it's more, 'how did it get to Suffolk' cos I brought to Essex..😼
7. I read somewhere that Memphis was a sub company any of Yamaha. Possibly 80's maybe Japanese, its got the classic Fender shape headstock. Its been a bit neglected and has wounds all over the body, but they are not structural. The bass is sound, the truss rod works ok the neck is not 'wounded' like the body. The machine heads work really well, there's no play in them and keep in tune dutifully. Its a good starter bass or a good project for renovation. Sounds pretty beefy and not bad to play. Trade for a Boss RC-3

10. I've still got those £5 Staggs on my P bass and they're still sounding great. I don't know if they are consistently as good as the set I have but I'm going to stick with them for the time being and buy some more. I shouldn't really recommend them, you lot might push the price up...haha!
11. sold 'irvined' my Feedback destroyer - easy simple transaction good coms...a pleasure!! http://basschat.co.uk/user/25467-irvined/
12.
We use one of these on our monitors. Works a treat. have another bump!
cheers!
13. I discovered a minor fault recently. The pot on the output can be pushed over the stop point with a little force. The amp all works great and the fault doesn't interfere with normal use. I've dropped the price by £50 which is more than enough to cover a new pot should the buyer decided on a replacement. great combo, for all situations. 500 watts comes with original cover and original (unused) digital 4 button floor control. all working and recently serviced by EMS in Southend overview: http://www.traceelli...ps/?item=116933 it.s all here: http://www.americanm..._715_Manual.pdf Will consider trades ! just generic pics...looks exactly like this but better... ahem!!

16. Fender Precision bass copy (not a converted Squier!) looks, feels and sounds like the genuine article. colour is called 'Dakota Red'. A bit darker than Fiesta Red truss rod, which is working perfectly, is adjusted from the heel of the neck like the the USA Fenders includes strap locks, genuine Fender pickup cover and hard case the bass is used but in really excellent condition previews welcome (trades are possible - bass stuff only)
