2. USA P bass that's been modified. the bridge p'up on this is a little more south (more the vintage jazz position) than a regular Fender factory made hotrod. The mod is totally a pro one. The routing for the bridge p'up has been done to a very hi spec. Manufacture Date: 02/17/2004 Straight from Fender customer services it's a little lighter than an average ....this might make this a little more appealing to some the more mature players out there. this bass includes: original Fender fitted hard case. Bartolini pickups Hipshot D-tuner Schaller straplocks NB: The original chrome knobs are on the bass at the mo - you can choose between the black or chromes >>>>>>>> I want £950 <<<<<<< or TRADES maybe a Jap Fender and cash ( P or J ) or similar basses from other makers. I particularly love the 'microtilt' necks of the Jap Fender 70's re-issues anything else bass related could be offered up - you never know keeping in mind I'm in need of some cash, trading downwards is the only way for me
 3.
Apologies Shonks, guilty as charged - thought I'd done, now have!
toooooo late, I read it and wanted it......still want it...now I cant have it........now I dont want it.....I went through a whole range emotions .....but I forgive you...!! best.......S
 4. just sold this guy my d-tuner and my house and all its contents including my wife - my condo in S America and when he went to pick up the deeds he ran away with my mother in law, exposed a drug cartel and manage to shrink the Amazon forest by another 15% - that's disgusting. Anyway, if you believe any of that then I wouldn't recommend you have any dealings with him, on the other hand, if you think he probably just bought my hipshot d-tuner without any hiccups and was thoroughly cool to deal with, then go ahead with any of your transactions with confidence - but you didn't hear that from me ....right!?

 11. ok you lot! you've seen me around on this site making a few comments here and there, selling some basses 'n stuff, so it's probably right that I should just say hello a introduce myself and talk about myself a little. I call myself Shonks on this site but my actual nickname is Shonkers and I'm quite well known by this title. I answer to Shonks too by the way, and my real christian name is Steve. I'm 58, soon to be 59. I've been playing bass since I was 14. I've been professional since the age of 19. My first pro job was with the British fusion band Isotope. I took over from Jeff Clyne My first TV appearance was on the Old Grey Whistle Test. It was live (and dangerous). We shared the set with 'The Tubes'. I played with masses of celebrities and been round the world several times. My middle career was mostly as a session guy working freelance for various producers, and worked on loads of records and TV shows for about 15 years. I eventually moved on to production and had deals with lots of indie companies making 'club' music. I eventually got a more significant deal with EMI and publishing with Chrysalis. I'm still in production and mainly writing and producing tracks for TV and Film for various publishers. I still get the occasional bass session and enjoying playing pubs and clubs with various bands. I have my own production team 'Palmgrease Productions' which work on various promising artists besides our regular TV work. I also have my own jazz trio also called 'Palmgrease' which go out and play very occasionally just to stretch our musical muscles. I moved from London to Essex about 10 years ago. I got married, my wife is from Brasil and I have a place there in Brasil. I've have been playing there too which has been great fun!! So....that's me in a nutshell I guess. If you think you know me get in touch, love to hear from you. best to you all and thanks to the mods for this great site!!
