Andy
thanks Andy, a beautiful bass, but it's not for me - thanks for the offer!
 4. ok, I know I said no trades, but I think everyone is a bit hard up these days, or at least a lot more cautious with their funds. So if I can't have the money, then maybe I can have a change. I have several Jazz basses, my favorite being a Surf green Jazz with block and bound neck...its the dogs bolleaux. So maybe something far away from that, as the Marcus bass isvery similar. Maybe a Musicman. A five string might be nice, but I'll consider a four too. I already have a fantastic Fender Frankenstein fretless so I wont consider a fretless unless maybe its something very exotic. So check out my Marcus Jazz and make me an offer......looking forward to hearing from you

 6.
Ha ha I just call everyone captain! Any chance of weighing it?
sorry but not weighing anything for the cabin boy except the anchor!! Joking aside, to heavy for the kitchen scales and my bathroom room scales are a joke - what me...over weight.... how dare you!! ...oops...joking again, but it cant weigh a guitar. its too light to be accurate, but I reckon its a lb or 2 over the average.I have a regular type jazz and it is marginally heavier, but its not like a back breaking Alembic or anything silly like that. Could be the retro machine heads that might be doing it, or at least contributing to it. you can always come over and check it out, I wont harass you into buying it, or press gang you into being an unwitting shipmate.
 7.
What does she weigh captain?
a little heavier than a regular jazz in my opinion - can't tell you for sure. How did you know I was the captain - was it the hat?
 8. this bass is in great condition - great player! the pix are hi res and a little unforgiving - the bass is much prettier in real life, but you're afforded a good look......... http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l496/S...MarcusBass5.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l496/S...MarcusBass3.jpg
 9. got rid of the Stingray 5 - Fender Jazz every time!! more versatile - and same spacing as the four string! NB dont get me wrong, the Ray sounded fantastic - but for me its a one sound horse. flipping the switch around just gives you worse variations of the regular Ray sound IMO hate the jack plug in the bottom sdge - cant sit down with it. hate that you cant go passive too hate the the shape of the scratchplate on the 5 otherwise its a brilliant bass...
 10.
Sold today, nice to meet you Steve - hope you enjoy!
beautiful bass! great deal - thanks!!!!! set up nicely, and shoved a black plate on it - fanbluddytastic!! Cheers and good luck on your sabbatical all the best Shonks
 11.
Hi there, I bought this bass from Bubinga5 on here about 18 months ago, but unfortunatley am now looking to move it on as am going travelling and could do with the cash and some space! Its a very nice bass, well used with a few small dings here and there and a little wear on the back of neck. This does not affect the way the bass plays and its been very well looked after whilst in my hands (used only at home). Sounds great and is lighter than my Lakland 4 string!! The bass can be collected from Essex (RM14 3LU) or SW London (SW12 8BN), however I do not have a bass amp at the London address so you wouldn't be able to plug in! £450 and she's yours note: the first pic is mine and the second two have been pinched from Bubinga5's previous advert (same bass). Cheers, Matt
sold mate ! - I'll have this - I live quite close to you!
