[/quote] I agree with this! I joined a very ropey band after about a year. We were all a bit rubbish. We played at Open Mics. Nobody booed us, threw things or even said anything harsh to us You can have a lot of fun when you're learning - it's amazing how forgiving audiences can be. I hope the OP finds some way of playing live soon. You don't have to be perfect and I bet you'll be really pleased at how quickly you improve.

I was one of those teenage girls who genuined loved them (unlike the teeny boppers at TOTP who were forced to look enthusiastic by the floor managers).
