1.
Is it as custard-coloured as it looks on my computer or is it just the lighting?
Ha! I think the lighting wasn't too good when I took the original pictures but it is a fairly pale yellow. If you want to pm me with your email address I'll take some more pictures in the good daylight and send them to you if you want? Cheers Rowley
2. Hi Tommo, I am looking for a nice unlined fretless!
3. Not just up for trades now. Available for sale.........you know you want to!
4. Just for a reality check, if you'd put this through a real auction house, what do you think the outcome would have been? You would have been obliged to sell it, as it's a legally binding contract.......as is Ebay. The reality is, when you listed it, you were happy with the contract terms (by implication), however, you weren't at the end of the sale. You broke the contract because it didn't suit you anymore. Not a cheat, but morally bankrupt.
5. You're right, did sound a bit heavy. Used a suitcase spring balance to weight it, must be inaccurate as I just popped it on the bathroom scales and it weighed in at 10lb.
6. Just weighed this, and it's around 6 kilos.
7.
If you could grab the weight of this one too that'd be great , cheers
Will do!
8.
Any idea of the weight? Cheers
I'll post the weight.....when I find my scales, think it's around 9lb, but I'll confirm tomorrow

10. Cheers Discreet, I've tried to price it realistically. In all honesty, the bass is up for sale for exactly what I paid for it (without the East) some 5 or 6 years ago, but I would be taking a hit on the East as I bought that new. If I get no takers at the full price, I'll remove the East and sell it separately.
11. This is my third bass up for sale to thin down the collection. I bought this some time last year as a copy, and when it arrived I was quite surprised by the headstock logo, as it looks VERY original. It was originally a Natural finish, but I had it painted in a sort of "vintage white" colour. It is fitted with a very nice sounding Seymour Duncan pickup, and I upgraded the controls with a KiOgon kit, and in all honesty plays well with a nice feeling neck which is a satin finish. It is a passive bass. Everything works as it should, including truss rod. Would make a good standby bass, or, an excellent starter. Will deliver at cost. Any question, feel free to ask.
12. Thanks for that, and you're right, it does sound the dogs......especially with new strings on. I've threatened to sell this on a few occasions, but always ended up changing my mind when I picked it up to photograph it and had a little noodle on it. But this time, I'm making a real concerted effort to resist changing my mind!
13. Need to thin down my collection, so this is up for sale. Mint condition with block and bound maple fretboard. This sounds fantastic with the stock pups, but I just don't play it enough. Will ship at cost. As usual, any question, please ask.
