Hi Looking for advice on where to take my Ampeg SVT for a service. Works fine but volume knob has sheared off so that needs looking at. The whole pot needs replacing so I believe they’d need an account with Ampeg so you can get the correct part. Live in leeds but anywhere in West Yorkshire area would be ok. hope someone can help. Thanks -

Gonna swap over my pickups tomorrow. Feel comfortable enough with the practical side of things but need to buy an iron and some solder. Wondered whether anyone had any advice for me in terms of what type of solder gives the 'truest' connection and whether getting a 15 or 30 watt iron would make any real difference. I'm thinking either will be fine but some reassurance before I get going would be nice! Thanks basschaters!
