    Ampeg B100R

bigjohn, the B100R doesn't have a valve preamp either. Only the B200R has the valve preamp.

Musicman20, the Rocket combos are quite different in tone to the BA series. They sound nothing like them. The B200R combo is more of a vintage sound, attempting to emulate the old B-15s. They're a very clean amp, with a 12AU7 in the preamp (B100 doesn't have a tube pre-amp). Basshead56. Mine is in pristine condition, as it's still only a couple of months old (home practice/recording use only). I'd likely take 350 for it. Oh and i don't hink its a US one. No issues at all with this one, however.

I have a B200R (220w 1x15) in as good as new condition (2-3 months old) and i would consider selling it if someone was interested. They're great amps and the 200 specifically, has a great DI out with a level control on it. (see far right of pic)
  4. It is still available yes. I would rather keep at £150, thanks.
  5. i'd be more worried about the gold hardware. yuck!

  7. Simple. Have both. [attachment=51684:2ps.jpg] (my 2 US Precisions)
  8. Looks quite Robert De Leo.
  9. KiOgon on here has serial No.1 i think.
  10. The SPB-1 would certainly be more suited to what you want to play, compared to the quarter pound SPB-3.
  11. I do it too as i write and record my own stuff at home. At practice, i hop on the drums, when the drummer leaves the room for a smoke
  12. You may be looking for the Sansamp VT bass pedal.
  13. Totally agree. I'm really digging mine. I'm playing my precision straight into the head - no pedals, through my Aguilar DB210. I have vol and gain both on about the second notches too.
  14. Just when i as considering a Compact. Same footprint, but taller. Looks nice.
  15. Man, these US shops always have so much stuff to drool over. A lovely Pelham Blue non-reverse t bird, a 62 P bass....
  16. I'd say the Orange Terror Bass. It sounds warm and thick to me.
