3. Thanks Sylvie "and Jack and Lozz and Mick and Chris and everyone else who made it a Sunday to remember". It was a great day................. My son has entitled the third piccie "300 Ponds of Joy" aka "Fat Man in the Bathtub" - sarky monkey that he is.
4. 6/10 - same as my playing standard.
5. "Get rid of the pick and use finger and thumb on a P bass, it's a lot easier." said the old git. Maybe that's why I'm sitting here and not where they are.
6.
Oh yes, the Jazz will be the one trying to play Portrait Of Tracey ...
So Sharon from Essex will be there, will she?
7.
Oh I'm quite sure we'd be able to tell Jazz basses from Precisions.
Hey Jack, do you really think the SE Bashers are able to tell the difference between Jazzes and Precisions?

17. Great Stuff, James - go for it and enjoy yourselves. A word from an old'n - keep it simple and leave space, loads of space and plenty of dynamics but most importantly have fun......

19. Gig and Her Highness permiting I hope to be there with a Squier 51CV Precision. That's if you'll have me, that is.
20. Easy? I had a similar conversation with my Grandson a few weeks ago, so I gave him this to play along with using my short scale bass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5Z9-QCmZyw He eventually did it all the way through admitting that he was exhausted at the end. His other comment? "Not easy Grandad. You can't stop. You've got to be spot-on and disciplined, haven't you?" I smiled........
21. On Friday 2nd. May, late morning, I phoned Nevada Music in Portsmouth and ordered a Dano 59DC. Jamie took the order, credit card details and my phone number and said he would ring me back with delivery details. Two hours later he did to inform me that he had restrung the guitar, set it up and it was in despatch. He also apologised saying that I would not receive it until Tuesday as the Monday was a bank holiday. At about 6pm Friday evening I received a text from Parcelforce to say that the Dano had been collected and that it would be delivered on Tuesday. Tuesday morning, 7:15am, another text from Parcelforce telling me it was on the van and out for delivery. Tuesday morning, just after 9:00am yet another text from Parcelforce telling me that it would be delivered within the next 45 minutes. 39 minutes later it was in my hands, superbly packaged, immmaculate setup and still in tune! I've read many posts on BC where members have had problems so I thought I would post a happy story for a change. Both Nevada Music and Parcelforce performed incredibly well - Thank you!
