Aguilar Octamizer - boxed like new - £100 Awesome sounding octave pedal. Heres what Aguilar say : The Octamizer® features independent volume controls for both the Clean and Octave sounds, so dialing in the exact amount of each is a cinch. The two discrete signal paths also have their own tone controls that were specifically designed to enhance and expand their musical possibilities. The Clean Tone control uses a Full Spectrum Tilt EQ, allowing for the boosting of treble while cutting bass or boosting of bass while cutting treble. This unique circuit allows you to create a clean sound that creates an octave doubling effect or to blend the sounds together for a great thick, snarky synth tone. The Octamizer's Octave Filter control is a multi-pole low-pass Filter that lets you shape the octave sound from smooth and deep to edgy and aggressive EBS BassIQ Envelope Filter - True bypass - No Box - £60 I think this is one of the best filters on the mark - no fuss, easy to use and great sound! If I wasn't trying to keep everything on my Pedaltrain Mini, it would be staying! Shipping can be arrange for £5 a go!

Great condition, comes with the original box and power supply. Quality pedal for adding warmth, sustain and thump. Probably not to best choice for peak limiting but does a great job at making a solid state amp sound 'valvey'. Looking £50. Available for collection from Belfast area or recorded postage for £10. Cash/BACS/Paypal gift welcome.

Various effects - Boss, DOD, EHX etc......
How do you find the DOD Milkbox as a compressor? Does it really fatten the tone?
I was a big fan of it when I had one, adds a lot of sustain! I'm actually tempted to grab another because I actually think I liked it better than my Guyatone BC-x tube -

I don't know what they go for usually but I'm assuming it's a lot more than this! Are these worth their salt? I've read a few reports of bad customer service but nothing much about how they play http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=171462904789

2 preamps into a stereo power amp bridged? Possible?
mattyb replied to mattyb's topic in Amps and Cabs
It is bad because the two outputs feeding each other. As said earlier, use a small line mixer.
Ah okay! Just trying to suss out what the most simplified set up would be. So say I got something like this (which, being behringer, may be a piece of junk! but something a long those lines) I could blend the two signals and that would be totally safe? I apologise for my ignorance in this subject! -
2 preamps into a stereo power amp bridged? Possible?
mattyb replied to mattyb's topic in Amps and Cabs
So I'm guessing something like a Y speaker cable from the stereo outputs would be a bad idea? I've tried googling it and only found examples of people doing the opposite, 1 output to a Y cable into 2 cabs which is supposed to be safe -
I've got this crazy idea in my head for a new set up but I'm not sure if it's at all possible. What I want to do is to take the stereo outs of my Line 6 M5 and send one side to my Aguilar Tonehammer pedal, and the other side to something a bit dirtier like a Sansamp bass driver. Then I want to be able to take those two 'channels' and feed them into a stereo power amp. From the power amp I want to run in a 'bridged' or mono mode into 1 cabinet so that I could effectively set a blend of clean and dirty out of the cab by the level of each channel in the power amp. I'm not sure about the logistics of this since I've always had heads rather than rack gear but is it possible or would I need two cabs? Or would it just be a bad idea all together?! Just a thought thats been running through my head and something I wanted to explore. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
