1. I bought an EQD pedal off Left Foot. After some initial miscommunication process was very smooth and I would not hesitate to deal with him again.
2. I have the Venture version (basically a slanted front, head MPulse 600). It is one of the most flexible amps I have had but it takes time to get to grips with the EQ. Low and high are not a straightforward boost/cut knob on a specific frequency. They change their Q width dependent on boost or cut. GLWTS!
3. Sweet Gary, what a looker!

6. Nick Lowe used to be in a band called Rockpile. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockpile This was their 4th flight case, clearly. Since Rockpile split in '81 I would think your cabs are late '70s. Gauss (Cetec) 5840 speakers were the dogs dangly bits back in the day, people often used them as bass bins in PA systems due to their power handling. Nice bit of '70s history I'd say!
7. Yes, MXR green bass one.
8. It's not the worst April fools joke of today.....
9. This: http://www.bassmute.com/bassmute/bm_mainframe.html Site looks a bit odd, but it is legit. Mate of mine has one, works a treat and is designed for bass.
10. Nice one.
11. Beg Pardon?
12. Get an MXR, not the greatest but better than Boss and sub-100. Keeley and Providence make the best choruses imo, but are >100.
13. I had a CM on my pedalboard for a long time, ultimately only getting rid of it due to needing the board real estate it occupies. Loved the low gain tubey drive setting, but actually when cranked it did a very decent face melter too. I had the EBS as well, never worked as well for me to be frank, didn't like the overall sound of the thing. Never missed a DI on either....
14. The NSCRFMs are prett much a direct copy of the US NSXLs including full maple quilted wings. Great basses, still sometimes miss mine even having owned USA ones too.
15. Had one in black, great gig bags. Regret selling it really.....
16. I would fork out the money and buy some decent speakers..... What you are suggesting may work but will not make a huge difference, better speakers and better EQ-ing will.
17.
GK RBs are amazing, probably best Watt per £ on BC currently.
Repeating myself....
18. Nice
19. Buy a Dean Edge 8 or Rhapsody 8..... The BC member that bought mine was really happy.
20. Metric vs Imperial hex sizes? If the bolt looks intact it is most definitely hex size related. Any bassist should own both in any case... Since you state double action and based on your description I am guessing you bought another Wick. Those are metric, perhaps the one provided and the ones you tried were imperial? Good luck.
21. Looks amazing! GLWTS
22.
How is this still here?! Awesome kit at a fantastic price!
Exactly! Get over the D class fad people, pound for pound one of the best deals on BC.
23. Boooooo hisssss humbug
