1. Up for grabs is my trusted Gigrig Quartermaster 6. Best compact loop switcher on the market, by a long way. This one is about 3 years old and I am only letting it go as I have bought an upgraded version. It is in used, but very decent nick. You will not be disappointed! Price includes shipping within Western-Europe. Pics on request.
2. The Serial matches as well, it's my old one..... Wouldn't mind having it back, but cannot justify it in any way.... GAS, be gone.
3. I believe I may have owned this bass a few years back, it ended up in France, maybe it is the same spec as the one I sold. Regretted selling it for a long time, truly excellent bass. GLWTS! 4. Haven't seen one of these in ages..... Great basses! Glwts
5. Tungsol make a great KT88, when I still did the fulltube thing these were my tubes of preference.
6. I love the look of this bass, classic with a modern twist. Must resist....
7. Pretty sure the folks at Smoothhound would send you some, Customer Service seems very good.
8. Strings are quite complex, always a chance that the core and wrap wires are not perfect...... It happens. Every 10 sets or so I encounter the same.
9. Region of gigs? Own repertoire? More details may help your search.
10. I use both a 5 and a 4 in all my bands/projects. If I am lazy I take the 5; was like you and played 6ers, until I realised a 5 would cover almost everything I do.
11. Just purchased a pedal off Frank, smooth as silk. Thank you, appreciate it. Deal in absolute confidence folks.
12. Looks okay, bound to be useful but price point will decide if it is a hit.
13. Due to the large number of positive reviews on BC I purchased the Smoothound Classic Wireless System a few months ago. Whilst it deserves all the good press it receives I have to admit I am just not using it enough to keep it. Am hard "wired" to use a cable..... Pretty much as new, with box and all bits (less the small piece of micro suction tape they give you), including the Neutrik Rean jack adapter they advise so you can use the transmitter as a body pack. http://www.smoothhound-innovations.com http://basschat.co.u...-guitar-system/ These are £149 new + shipping so this is your chance to save 50 quid on an almost new one. Shipping in UK for a fiver.
14.
Ofcourse....dutch logic.
Technically I am only half Dutch, but am in tune with my Dutch side
15. No, I did.... Had some cash left over and a '62 stack knob Jazz was too cheap. '61 Jazz in Precision disguise made much more sense. Now to find 2 jazz pickups and a router.
16. Should never have sold mine....
17. Oooh, looks interesting, GK in a box!
