Ah, it became a neck.... Very cool build!

That looks very cool. The waiting has commenced

Apart from all the slightly off putting deviations off topic there is a lot of good advice here. But it is very important just to be patient. It takes time before you adapt your style to suit the fretless, once your fingers are used to making the tone as apposed to the frets doing part of the job for you, then you will see that it becomes easier to find your own fretless voice. And listen to Pino Paladino as well, I still like his fretless playing from back in the day. Simple and effective.

This will either become the neck or a cricket bat.

New patch cables for pedalboard, George L's fail
HazBeen replied to Ghost_Bass's topic in Accessories and Misc
Evidence Audio SIS, they are solderless but srew in. Not cheap, but they will sort the issues (I also used to have George Ls), are compact and have excellent audio characteristics. -
I had it, great sounding amp and incredibly loud at 250 watts..... It was a backup and I sold it, but should have kept it. It really is quite good.

Up for grabs is my US made Darkglass Vintage Microtubes. Pretty well known on BC by now, so will keep it short and sweet. In good nick, with just a few little scratches and velcro on the bottom. Comes with the box and such. Although I love this pedal, it hasn't ousted my Carl Martin Bassdrive which suits me a little better. Happy to snap picks over the weekend, but it is as described. £135,- + P&P (9 quid tracked Holland to UK)

Good taste I used to own one a Bebop 5, and regret selling it. I got the 1st second hand so now I could get it just the way I want it. Swamp ash for a little more open tone compared to alder. Bit more modern, the Lollars compliment the wood nicely. Only - however long it takes - to go.....
Congrats! My main bass is a bebop 5 in exactly the same spec, and it's an incredible instrument. I still grin every time I pick it up
It basically is a circuit that boosts the low frequencies, useful when playing back pickup only. So passive with a little helper....
I'll be following along. I'm off to find out what a Vanderkley Fatboost is
I will gladly fill the vacant position with my band....... We'd be as loud at least. No calls yet though for some reason. As for Kanye I really appreciate him using his status to give upcoming artists like Paul Macca a break (I kid you not, this was a comment on FB after the recent pairing). As for Florence, I quite like her but would agree if you are expecting the Foos it would be a little different...... They may still call me.

I just bought 2 TC pedals and Evidence Audio SIS patches from Alun, good comms, quick shipment, completely hassle free. Would certainly buy again.

Tom at COG or Max at SFX for sure.

You are not alone Goonieman, I had an oops last year on my G&L M2500, also having done 20 years of own setups without issue. If you are lucky you have stripped the thread and getting a new nut is a relatively easy and not a costly affair. As it happens my M2500 had a snapped truss rod just beneath the nut (I still think it was a design flaw). The fretboard had to be planed off, and replaced (by a lovely bit of birdseye maple ...) at huge cost (300 quid in total). Good luck!

Get one, I owned an M5V and a PJ5, both great basses. The M5 or BB will be as well built and if the specs are what you want........ you will not be disappointed. The only thing I would say is that the 35" scale I had on both gave a great B string, but I did find the D and especially the G not to "sing" as much as I had liked. But I find that with most 35"scale basses. He also makes 34"scale basses so WHEN I buy another Lull it will be the 34"scale for me, passive, and I will love it for sure.

Subscribed, been eyeing the OD for a bit. Especially if the OD is any good.

Just realised my big rig isn't on here. GK RB1001-II and 2 Tecamp L212s. Loud, deep and not too heavy.
