1. .... the previous owner had a huge belly button and this wart fit in it snugly creating a vacuum. No strap needed!

Tony Levin

Something very saturated, perhaps with some filter going on..... 1982, hmmmm.
3. Yes! Finally, I was so looking forward to that review. Now GB is dead by Fender good to know if there is an alternative.
4. 10-15-12 as well, A had most punch, B best low, C best mids
5. I have very low standards In all seriousness, how good or bad doesn't really matter. It is what you do with the skills you have. I am an accomplished hobbyist of 25 years (early 40s) with limited reading skills but reasonable understanding of scales and such, my approach to bass playing always has been to tie with the drummer and create the foundation for a band to be the best it can be. That means I do not solo (often) or create hugely intricate parts (often) but I do make my band a better band. Does that make me better of worse than anyone else? Who knows, I am happy with what I do and ultimately music is a way to express who you are as a person. IMO.
6. Now just a Ventures amp and it is '65 all over again.. Albeit that was 9 years before I was born. The Ventures are cool http://www.planktones.com/IMG_1066.JPG
7. I have never had an issue in setting up my basses, but this video is extremely informative and good to watch.

9. I can as we have been booked thru End of year, confirmed Waterhole dates: -21 March -23 May -20 June - Holiday in July - 1 August -12 September -17 October -28 November
10. I give this the benefit of the doubt, a Dingwal Super J 5 is 32-35" and they appear to work well enough. Also Stevens (Germany) built the FJ-5 which had a 34-35.5" scale and I believe the fanned father Ralph Novak uses 34-36" on his 5s. Dingwals are undoubtedly awesome but they didn't invent nor are the only one to succesfully use the Novax patent, this may be a really good bass.... Or not
11. It looks absolutely tiny on the SVT (which is actually a solid state amp made to look like a tube SVT) , enjoy!

15. JG is the man, not the only great fretless player in the world but he should get much more recognition than he has......... Sick to death of reading about fretless "beast" Tony Franklin, to me he is to JG what Dacia is to a Bentley. Sure it gets you there, but that is about it. rant over
16. Hope you enjoy the forum, and a belated welcome
17. the fact he has done it on 2 postings means it is not a type-o, how if you have pics showing the name..... Mind boggling.
18. And sold pending..... Wow, that was quick.
19. Probably best placed here, I upgraded my patch cables to Source Audio SIS last year and am cleaning out some clutter. 10 George L angled plugs (standard) Some cable in between them 2 straight Planet Waves Jack-Jack plugs 2 staggered Planet Waves Jack-Jack plugs George L's are 5 quid per plug, so 30 for the lot seems fair. Shipping excluded, P&P is 10 quid anywhere in Europe.
20. For Sale (or Trade) my trusty GWB35, Gary Willis 5 string Fretless. I just don't use it that much nowadays and maybe someone else will use it a bit more often. Mine is still a made in Korea one, they are made in Indonesia currently.

GWB 3-piece maple neck
Basswood body
Ebonol fretless fingerboard
B105 bridge
SFR-GWB Custom neck pickup
Offset pearl dot inlay
Black hardware
EQB-GWII 2-band EQ
It is completely stock, incredible value for money and if you would spend some dosh to stick in East 2 band tone controls and a US Bartolini it would compete with most high end fretless basses.... if you have the talent Pics: http://s87.photobucket.com/user/welcometombh/library/Ibanez%20GWB They are around 575 new, I am looking for 300GBP excl. shipping. I can ship with detached neck anywhere in Europe (in bubble wrap, tracked and insured) for 50 quid. Open to trades, as I seem to buy more stuff with funds I raise from selling instruments anyway. Not in need of any basses, but trades on FX, amps etc I would consider.
