1. Bought an SFT off Christian. Easy transaction, would happily deal again without hesitation.
2. Yeah, not the best of times. It will sell at point X, the Super Jazzes are the dogs b@llocks.
3. Good to see the Allevas are really affordable . Lovely bass!
4. How can this still be here? Lull makes one of the best modern JBs around, easily comparable to Sadowsky, Nordstrand etc.
5. Db212 for a 1 cab solution not an option? Have a bump on me for some great cabs.
6. Hi mate, traded? What did you get for it? Haz
7. RIP to one of the '80s bass building icons
8. +1 on gafbas02's review. I have them in my Fender AVRI '62 - well I had them made custom with raised pole pieces to accommodate the 7.25" radius better. I was very pleasantly surprised for 2 reasons, cheapest custom pups I have come across and they sound every bit as good as some of the other more "boutique" renditions of a classic. To my ears they are "hotter" than most single coils and are a bit darker and beefier. Not a lot of top end sparkle (which you should not have in a 60's reissue) but good highs, nice mid register without becoming too boomey and very solid bottom. I also have and older (purchased 2nd hand off BC) paid in my Vintage Jaco Fretless, cheap as chips bass that with these boys and CTS pots/oil capacitor sounds better than most US standard Fenders. I am very very pleased indeed and will certainly buy them again.
9. Ha ha, funny as........
What a bass. I don't have a fodera 6 to trade but I do have a semi now.
10. I was looking for one........ darn it, could have saved myself some money if I had checked.
11. It will be between 9 and 11 lbs. Mine is just over 10.
12. I have the passive version of this as my BEAD bass, great for rock/ metal as well as old school fingerstyle tones. Neck is great too! Have a bump on me.
13. Beautiful amp! However you look at it, tube amps just sound right. Never seen one of these before, but 660 quid for a full tube 200w amp is pretty awesome, the weight is not too bad either. 14. Agreed, no pics = no amp Will snap a few. I got the White Hot DB212 And the "no humour belongs in German design" Puma 900 of course .
Pics?
15. Since Saturday I own a Tecamp Puma 900 and an Aguilar DB212. After using is at home I was able to put it through its paces yesterday. Wow! I cannot remember a better mid range whallop or a fatter bottom. I might have reached amp nirvana......
16. I am posted in the Netherlands (bit of a trip for you) and am in greater Manchester area every month for about a week back in head office.
17. I am an idiot, you posted when you put the add on. I used to have the 212 version. Really good. Afraid I am not in the neighbourhood any time soon. You will not post?

sold

Van der End, contrary to van der Kley is unknown in UK mate. Unless you find a Dutch/Belgian buyer it will be a hard sell perhaps. I have owned a van der End, really good basses completely handmade and often handmade eq/pups. Bump on me!
