1. Hi Peeps, The continuing saga that is called "GAS" brings me to the following. I have an SVPCL (Grey face) in really good nick and an SVP Pro (Black face) in worn but full working nick, both with new TungSol tubes. The CL I have had for a number of years, the Pro I bought off BC about a month ago. Would like to offload these by either selling or trading as I prefer the old school tones of my Trace V-Type. SVPCL = GBP350 shipped to UK SOLD TO HARRY SVP Pro = GBP300 shipped to UK SOLD TO PERRY 50 quid off if you buy both. Trades? Light full range cabs @ 4 or 8 Ohms, lightweight Class D head, Trace Elliot V-Type pre, Alembic F1X, Fender TBP pre, lightweight Power Amps (Crown or QSC). Pics here: http://photobucket.com/ampegpreHB Original thread for SVP Pro http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1503063
2. Please take this bass off Vile's hands so he can feel crap about letting it go for a Brubaker Especially since he is asking not a lot for it. Great guy to deal with as said before.
3. Yeah, PJ5...... I almost sold mine a few months back. Quite a few gigs later I am so happy I kept it, truly the best passive bass I have ever played. Actually had Mr Lull himself create a fully passive wiring harness to turn my M5V into a V5 now as well. Passive Mike Lull's.......... Lurvely!
4. Mate, just keep it..... tiny high powered amp, everybody should have one
5. Have a free bump on me, great looking bass......albeit far beyond anything I would pay for an instrument. Pope and Fodera, they must a golden a holes by now .

Mr. Foxen

Had the pleasure of buying off Oli. Nice guy, big help, very happy. Would deal again in an instant.
7. You are a wise man
Bass withdrawn. Gigged it last night. Awesome.
8. BUMP for a great fuzz pedal

SOLD

Don't do it... most heavy FX users have sold pedal boards et al to get all in one solutions only to find out that important fx - like overdrive and distortion - are utter sh*t on multi/modelling solutions. I for one could have saved myself a lot of trouble and money if I hadn't gone down this route in the first place. Just my 2 pennies worth....... Really nice pedals for a good price by the way, so if you indeed want to sell you will find interested parties I'm sure.
10. Okay, since buying an Earthbound Beast this is no longer my preferred bass fuzz. It is a hell of a great super mega fuzz however and it should not be sitting idle. Good as new condition £90,- + shipping (9 quid to UK). It is the pedal on the bottom right.
11. Paul sold me his SVP Pro. What a very pleasant guy to deal with, patient, easy going and trustworthy. Deal with him ANY time without hesitation...... you have my permission No, seriously. Great guy to deal with.
12. Sold a rack kit to Matthew, very smooth sailing and I would deal with him again without hesitation.
13. Looks just like my Spector NS-6 but with a funny bridge and angled tuners Although I am firmly on the Spector side of the "line", Stage 1's I have to admit are simply awesome and you can't go wrong buying off a Global Moderator. Nice bass!
14. Ehm yes, and I am going to trade my BMW for a Kia....
15. Thank goodness, I was worried you would trade it against a Stingray
16. Chris, only if you promise to swap for your PJ5
17. On the off chance that someone has the "opposite" need: I have a Mike Lull M5V and a Mike Lull PJ5, both awesome basses and I love them very much. No issues at all with my PJ5, only one minor issue with my M5V.... (active 18v NTMB)..... I prefer passive basses. This in fact is still not a real issue, as I just use it in passive mode. Anyway, does anybody have either a Mike Lull PJ5 or UV5 or V5 (all passive of course) and are they looking to trade against an M5V? No interest in other basses really, Mike Lull has left me pretty much GAS free, but I might consider something that is very similar to the basses I described above. Pics on request blah blah blah.. Thank you much.
18. The bridge looks like it is extra high quality..... note to self, must get one....
19. See my previous post, the QSC PLX series is light, Crown has lightweight options as does Crest. You are okay with any of these 3 makes, the rest will most probably leave you wanting for something better.
I guess most of the power amps available will be of the heavy kind, but are there any lightweight power amps on the market, and are they any good?
20. QSC PLX1804 without a doubt the best power amp for bass you can buy.... for me it beats all other contenders. The PLX2502 if you want the option to bridge. QSC RMX line if you are on a budget and don't mind the weight.
21. I am gonna buy it....... no I'm not. I am currently building a bass out of glass and bamboo. The hole thing has bean made to be awesome. Any bids?
22. Someone please buy this, since I sold it to Vile I have always had a slightly nagging feeling.... must resist, not enough cash and have another NS6 any way........
23. Awesome basses, great sound and construction and plays really well too.
24. Aaah my old baby........ a lot to love about this bass. Vile has some explaining to do Trade with confidence, Vile is a pleasure to deal with and I know from experience (it is my old bass) that this NS is top notch. Best B string I have probably ever heard.
