Keep your OC2.... is all I have to add. The Helix is very good, but my LT still does not match my pedals wrt Octaver, Synths and some Drive pedals (some are great on Helix btw, but I have a specific requirement). I have owned or own ALL Helix models, none covered 100% standalone. But that was for my specific setup and needs, I know others are perfectly happy with just a Helix.

As some of you know I have been having back problems, and to ensure I keep the back “working as required” one of the things I needed to do is shed weight ..... i.e. go for lighter instruments. After trading one of my Rays for an old Streamer (@3.7kg), I traded my Yamaha BBP35 (great bass btw, just too heavy for me to keep) plus a decent amount of dosh for an Elrick Gold 5 string. Wow is all I can say, well under 4 kg but really resonant and a neck that is really comfortable. Alfredo @siso0450 the seller has been such a pleasure to deal with as well, making the entire event a really positive experience. I truly hope he loves the Yammy as much as I do the Elrick. Anyway, a few way too dark pics (one includes the Wick too) ..... but I am off to play this bad boy!

Yes, I’d agree. Snce the Strategy has a jack output, I would daisy chain the two cabs with speakon, and then run a speakon to jack into the strategy (so only one jack into the 4ohm jack output)

In series you stack resistance, but daisy chaining is the correct way as cabs are wired in parallel. You get 4ohms, and the 4ohm output is the correct one to use, however do keep in mind that 2/3 of power goes to the 6ohm and 1/3 to the 12ohm cab. This is not ideal. Oh, and you plug both into the 4ohm outputs.

I use QSCs, K12.2s as mentioned above. But I also still go pedalboard/amp/cab very often still. When I feel like lugging stuff.

The OP has indicated he already OWNS a Wick Double Buck. Is the Vigier an upgrade to a $$? Absolutely. But like all graphite necked instruments the Vigier’s tone is very modern which may or may not suit you. Beware of delamination on the Vigier, a very common thing with older Vigiers. Generally it does not cause structural issues, but may require some attention.

Basically a PJ on steroids, a bass I never thought I would sell.... but needs must. 34” scale Rosewood fretboard Jazz type neck (nice and slim/narrow) Detuner on the E (and original tuner included) Built in 1995 I believe In remarkable condition for it’s age Around de 4.3kg mark Only small marks, given it’s YOB in remarkable condition It has a VVT mod but also comes with original wiring loom Shipping in Europe with neck detached included.
