It was amazing! Great gig, great crowd and enough shade as well :)

Will share a video snippet shortly.

  4. I love the look of this bass, very modern/classic. GLWTS!
  5. Hardly a build diary, but still good to just share. I found a little leftover hardwood and made a ramp for the Ray. Radiused and finished in lemon oil. Works!
  6. Adds nothing to what is already available really, a pedal made by the marketing department.
  7. There is no advantage at all to going series ..... at all. It would give you less volume due to the higher load.
  8. Clearly great tone and technique, but playing this song this quickly does make it significantly less funky which is it's biggest asset.
  9. This is a lot of amp for the money, very very good amps.
  10. May I suggest the discussion turns to the bass not the bassist. The bassist can then be discussed in another thread if required, keeps confusion to a minimum.
  11. A Michael Tobias design. Great basses, GLWTS!
  12. Basic 350, I loved mine back in the day. Such a great sounding amp. "Red Face" ruled the stage back in the day!
  13. Helix update! Svt4, Sansamp and Scrambler. Nice!

The SVT4 is just how I remember my old bass gear. I think this could be one of the best models ever for bass from Line 6.

Not done mine yet but the SVT4 is def of interest. What other action is going on?

    Boss SY-1

It certainly looks good for my needs .... although my Future Compact (thanks to GisserD) is small and awesome of course. The SY300/SY1 actually will appeal to some people.... if I needed a lot of 80's type synth sounds the SY in my eyes would really work well. Horses for courses and such.

    Boss SY-1

It sounds like the SY-300 so it must be based on it. I owned the SY-300 for a while, some good Synth sounds but I did prefer my FI as a "real world" tool. It will be interesting to see how people get on with it.
  16. I confirm... not even close I am afraid.
