Bogart? Never heard of them You have done your research, 1 comment. Stefan still makes the composite body style. He also offers the full wood body option. Great guy, great basses. I would peg your 5 to be late ‘90s, you can see mine as background pic on my homepage. Very similar, a 2001 model. BTW He has also introduced (you cannot see it on his website) a Jazz with a mainly wooden neck, a la Vigier. -

This happens to me all the time, but then it doesn’t help that I am Wolverine and my adamantium claws keep shooting out unexpectedly when I play an open A.

Tribute bands - where the name is better than the band

I remember smiling quite a bit when I saw an Oasis tribute NOasis a few years ago. And don’t forget Fake That. -

3 Bolt Necks vs. The Rest of The World
HazBeen replied to hiram.k.hackenbacker's topic in General Discussion
Both the L and M indeed have 6 bolts nowadays, but my old L was a stable as my new L so probably image indeed. -

Plus 1, G&Ls never had the issue ..... it is about quality of work, not number of bolts..... although more bolts mean you can be less accurate and still have a stable connection. -
Octave tracking is very good, generally digital means better tracking than analogue. The synths/organs are decent, if they are right for you I clearly cannot say. For my personal taste the Future Impact has the upper hand, so I kept it on my board. Same with the COG Octaver and the dirt pedals I kept, could the HX replace them? Yes. But sounds and settings are personal, for my taste some pedals were simply a better fit and I kept (and will keep) them. Others (B7K e.g,) had a direct HX alternative or I found a comparable sim (chorus e.g.). Almost convinced the Keeley can be taken off too.

What gear exceeded expectations for you?
HazBeen replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in Bass Guitars
Line6 Helix HX. Modeling is here to stay. Still amazed every day just how quickly this thing has become the centre/heart of my pedalboard. Bogarts basses, I bought the 1st one on a whim, not expecting that I would end up owning three that I would use 90% of the time. To me they beat their nearest rival Status for sound, ergonomics, balance and playability. -
Not really bass-related, but still astonishing

Awesome, Moollon anyone!?

Not only have I just bought some pickups and a pre from Pete, we also have had the mutual pleasure of dealing with bad service, scum of the earth type couriers together. A true gent throughout and everything that could be done on his end was done. Would deal/trade again in an instance. Top fella!
