    Not only have I just bought some pickups and a pre from Pete, we also have had the mutual pleasure of dealing with bad service, scum of the earth type couriers together. A true gent throughout and everything that could be done on his end was done. Would deal/trade again in an instance. Top fella!

Gotoh 201B Chrome in very good condition - Fender direct replacement bridge - £30 Fender Vintage P pickup (2010) in good condition, came out of my AVRI 57 P SOLD! EMG 5 string P pickup - been in my draw for ages, it works and looks okay still - SOLD! Arturia Microbrute Arturia, in good condition and comes with all bits and bobs (EU adapter!) SOLD! An as new McMillen 12 step + midi hub. With this setup you can make a Taurus pedal out of any MIDI keyboard (Arturia Brute, Moog Minitaur etc) at a fraction of the weight of Taurus pedals. Comes with all the cables, adapters, etc and is in good as new condition. SOLD! All prices include shipping. If you buy both the McMillen and Microbrute as a combo I will knock another tenner off.     I have one and it has been a game changer. Not only does it give you a very intuitive UI and a lot of exceptionally well modeled emulations, but I also control my entire board from it. You can search for Helix in the Post Your Pedalboard to see and read up on my pedalboard setup. There are lots of threads and videos on HX out there so I will just summarise: a viable sonic alternative/equivalent to most stand alone pedals in a very sturdy and well thought out box, that has the most user friendly interface imaginable and offers so many switching options it is insane. Line6 knocked it out of the park. I would happily gig with just the HX if I had to.

    If memory serves me correct they were very similar in layout and tone, not the exact same. The RedFace was a terriffic amp, still one of my favourites ever.

    Just because SWR no longer exists and the Red Heads are heavy compared to current D class amps. But they are both great combos if weight is no issue.

    Get your own studio and store everything bulky there. Works for me! Although really not giving a rats about my mrs opinions on what does and does not constitute clutter and mess also helps. I was a musician before we met so she knew exactly what to expect. I find her 400 or however many pairs she actually has pairs of shoes rather annoying, but also accept it to be part of her “hobbies” so just accept it as part of the package.

    Wow, this is not a discussion I would expect in 2018 I used to own both. V1 is 240w with Internal speakers, the V2 higher (350 or 400), and indeed both had different speakers. I always preferred the tone of the V1, but it would not handle 5 string overly well. The V2 did a better job (for a 210), but I found the tone to have less character. V1 in my eyes was one of the best 210 combos ever, but underpowered in a big band. V2 did better volume wise (especially with an extension cab :)....) but SWR had already been impacted by Fender decisions which resulted in a very good amp, not a great amp. For me the early to late 90’s were SWR’s golden years, the Red Head, Red Face, Silverado, Studio 220 period.

    The current “main” Bass > Temple Audio pedalboard side input > Keeley Compressor Pro > Helix Hx > side output > Mesa amps The Hx also acts as the control centre for the other pedsls, loop 1 “Synths” has the Future Impact and COG T65 in the chain and loop 2 “Dirt and Grit” has the Bearfoot BBO and the Darkglass Duality. I find the B7K emulation to be very close to the original so I no longer have one on the board.

    Fancy nicking a Moollon, rare in UK and with a highly recognisable headstock. If crap converters cannot see that sticking out like a sore thumb I don't know.....

    Wow Chris, I am starting to feel fortunate that the multiple times we bought/sold/traded stuff I was lucky to get out unscathed...... criminal mastermind you. Paypal/Ebay, get your finger out... for the money you charge us when we use your "okay, not great" services/systems surely you can afford to link systems so one agonisingly slow resolution process is enough.

    I have 3 of those, the faux headstock types. Indeed well made, but I will stop hijacking this Vigier thread (which are some seriously sexy sounding and looking basses in their own right).

    I should not come here, too GAS inducing. I have zero Vigiers, but I do have 3 Bogarts which have a very similar "feel", 80's modern, graphite galore, great tight sound etc. I just really dig the shape of the Passions.. want one...

    That is awful, although he is lucky that as he is well known likely Moollon will send him a new one as their advertising opportunity is now also gone. Same happened with Bryan Beller. Still, doesn’t negate the fact that thieves are the scum of the earth. Stealing is just so low.
