  1. The Hague, NL mate.... but I still go to UK every month, greater Manchester area. Not ideal likely.
  2. Bumpage, there is nothing wrong with some bass synth
  3. I am not comparing really, I love my FI but it is a much condensed approach to a synth pedal compared to the SY300. Apples and oranges, so no choosing one over another. The FI is a great take on a classic pedal, very useable in certain situations, but reasonably limited (and yes, it is very tweakable through the editor) compared to the SY300. And SY is polyphonic and tracking is better. And that is what I mean with overkill, I use about 5 sounds out of 9 million. If you spend enough time the SY can give you just about anything with 3 oscillators + many effects. There is quite a lot of material on YT comparing the SY with the FI and creating FI sounds on the SY. In an ideal world you would own both..... oh, I do , but I do not need all the SY brings to the table, my sonic needs are satisfied with a simpler setup.
  4. And SOLD! En route to Sascha in Germany as we speak.
  5. GAS is a powerful mistress, but I need to be realistic and the Boss SY-300 is overkill for my needs. So for sale (or part trade) my Boss SY-300. For the uninformed (most will know what this puppy can do) this is a full polyphonic synth for bass/guitar with the added benefit that you do not need a MIDI pickup (yes PED, without the GK ). Tracks fantastically well on both bass and guitar. It is in really good condition and comes in a Rockbag carrying bag (padded) and with a UK Boss adapter. Price includes shipping in Western Europe. I would consider a part-trade with a Future Impact as I only have 1 of them and ideally need 2. So for those of you who want to upgrade? I would potentially also consider other Synth pedals suitable for bass, a high quality overdrive, interesting “sound scaping” pedals. 6. Good to see this, time will tell if the singer is a worthy alternative but not bad so far.
  7. Just fo7nd this too, beware of fakes: https://www.aliexpress.com/item-img/2015-new-guitar-factory-special-made-bass-butterfly-logo-6-strings-bass-with-active-pickup-system/32371520612.html
  8. Looks like this bass was sold in Teesside in 2016 for 500 quid. https://en.shpock.com/i/VycyvfDiKdtmi0ZA/ Brazilian luthier, one of my mates has a 5 string, sounds pretty good!
  9. Up for grabs is my 2009 Sandberg VM5 (1st generation). I just never seem to use it over my Bogarts and it is too good an instrument to not be used and for a new tribute project I need a 4 string P bass.... hence the trade preference. The bass is one of the earlier models with Delano pickups. Later Sandberg starting shipping them with their own brand of pups. 5 string 34" scale Weight is 4.8kg Black Alder body Rosewood fingerboard Maple neck Delano Precision /MM configuration Glockenklang Pre Hardware originally silver (some black hardware currently installed) The bass has quite a lot of mojo and it clearly has been used in 8 years, dings, dongs, scrapes, scratches all the things you would expect to see from a working instrument. It sounds really good and cuts through the mix like butter. Neck is somewhat of a halfway house between a P and J 5 string neck. Not overly slim, but no bat territory either. The bridge was changed at some stage (previous owner) to the newer version, which in essence still is an A style model. I acquired some black tuners and strap buttons that I think look really good, you would need to buy a black string retainer, knobs and bridge (GBP85-90 new in total) if you want to complete the transformation. I will include both the original and black hardware. Structurally the bass is sound, really no issues at all with neck, joints, fretboard, hardware or frets so it will deliver for ages before needing any further TLC. I should probably price this a little higher, but I would like to find it a new home and want to facilitate the transition to all black hardware a little too... it would look great. Price included shipping within Europe with neck detached. No case or bag. I would sell for the more than reasonable asking prico o.n.o. Trade value is £825, but that also is not fully set and depends on the total deal. So what would I trade against? I need a 4 string P bass or a PJ/PM ideally passive or with passive tone control. https://imgur.com/gallery/AGGgP
  10. Hi, Up for grabs is my Darkglass M900. There has been ample discussion on how good these bad boys are so I assume I do not need to add much, full specs here: https://www.darkglass.com/microtubes-900/ I bought 2 M900s several months ago (I use 2 amps in my setup) and they have most certainly lived up to the hype, a great overdriven/distortion channel and a really musical clean channel coupled with 2 Ohm capability make this one of the most flexible and well rounded D Class amps around. So why sell one then? Well, after a lot of AB-ing I have decided I like my Mesa MPulse/DG M900 setup a little better than a Double DG M900 setup so I can let one go. Condition is very good/good as new. Comes in the original box with all the trimmings, comes with the footswitch too. I can even provide a copy of the original receipt if you want. Priced to sell, shipping in Western Europe included.
  11. This is Stuart Clayton's old bass, gave me lots of GAS at the time..... I could not do without my Bogart 4 and 5s but I can imagine especially the 5 is not for everyone. Flat broad 5 string neck with 19mm string spacing. I am going to leave now as I am starting to GAS again (do I need another 5 string Bogart?, surely not... resist).
  12. I owned one, truly one of the best basses I ever had. GLWTS!
  13. These are great basses, I still miss mine on occasion
