1. I have seen these go for more than 1800.... crazy, but hey. Madness.
2. the teenager in me just died... soundtrack to very happy times. RIP Prince
3. I just bought Alex' COG Rogue Leader, excellent comms, super fast shipping and a nice bit of banter as well. Could not expect or want any more. Great seller!
4. I have a vintage 2012 American Standard P for sale carefully modified by world famous modification artist Haz Been. I think I may ask them to sell if for me, 16k may be a bit steep but then I am not too bothered if it does not sell. Not at all being sarcastic I promise In all seriousness, I would never pay even a quarter for a jazz bass (not even a '62 stacked knob) but market demand dictates the price. If some Chelsea numpty wants to pay... clearly that the correct price then.
5. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GIBSON-THUNDERBIRD-BASS-EX-OASIS-AND-THE-WHO-1968-ex-JOHN-ENTWISTLE/391269640446?_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20140221143405%26meid%3Dc53fdbb49d9b41f09474bec0220cd8e6%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D24%26sd%3D391434650065 Another totally irrelevant one here, great shop...
6. What ikay said. It may however also be there is some interference going on between P and J, a common proximity related issue when a P is in original position and J is in '60s position.
7. FS the smallest incarnation of the POG. The Nano POG. In very good condition (almost mind I would say), with box and all documentation. Save yourself 85£ on a new one. I can ship to UK for an additional 9£ (insured + tracking). Just as a reference point: http://www.thomann.d...ix_nano_pog.htm Happy to snap a few pics if you need.
8. Bump, Chorus sold pending
9. I have two 12" Alto TS112s, best bang for the buck. Recommend them.
10. What other nationality can we start generalizing next?
11. Bumpage is in order after 48 hours. Will be in UK (greater London area) at the end of April/beginning May so can deliver.
12. Up for sale is my 2012 US P. This bass started its life as a run of the mill sunburst P. When the original pickup went microphonic on me I decided to turn the bass into a rock machine. So, bought the Geezer signature PJ set from EMG and after some woodwork etc ended up with a Geezer PJ that is just an absolute tone monster. P is in standard location, J was placed in between the standard '60s and '70s location, this turned out to be the right choice. Bass is in good condition, one of the more comfortable P necks I have encountered. The routing work is a tight and a quite a neat fit, not always the case as we all know. Has user marks for sure, but all in all is in good nick if you consider it has seen quite a bit of action. So, why sell? Too much gear means I need to get rid of a few bits. But not worried if it does not sell. Can ship tracked and insured within EU (with neck detached) for an additional 40 quid. 13. I played a very similar bass as my main axe for 12 years..... Brings back very good memories this
14. All fun and games aside, these Bogarts are a very good alternative to Statii Moduli or ZONs. Back in the day I even preferred my Bogart over the S2 I had.
15. I bought an EQD pedal off Left Foot. After some initial miscommunication process was very smooth and I would not hesitate to deal with him again.
16. I have the Venture version (basically a slanted front, head MPulse 600). It is one of the most flexible amps I have had but it takes time to get to grips with the EQ. Low and high are not a straightforward boost/cut knob on a specific frequency. They change their Q width dependent on boost or cut. GLWTS!
