1. Seems like the quickest sale ever! Sold, subject to the usual money/collection. Thanks. (will edit the topic, if finally sold)
2. I have a limited amount of feedback at, basschat.co.uk/topic/168109-feedback-for-graham1945 if you're interested. Thanks, Graham
3. Hi, I have a G&L L2500 made in Fullerton CA for sale only. I purchased this new in early 1999/98 and the serial number suggests that it is a 1997 (CL09822). I don't feel like removing the neck to confirm this date. This was my main bass for two or three years, but is now surplus to requirements. It is in excellent condition which I hope the pics show, there being two tiny blemishes (please see pics). As I don't slap, the finish on the face of the bass is pretty well how I bought it. I don't really know how I've kept this in such good condition!! Specs (mainly from the G&L website):- 34" scale, rosewood neck with black side markers in addition to the usual mop fingerboard dots. Two humbucking G&L pickups, 9volt preamp Neck radius is 9" or 228.6mm, width at nut is 1 3/4" or 44.5mm, very easy to play for a five string. Open back traditional tuners, which I think are half alloy to lighten the head to avoid neck dive. Saddle lock bridge with the option of stringing through the body. Controls are from top, volume knob, treble knob, bass knob. Top mini switch - pick up selector (three position), middle mini switch - two position series/parallel (bass boost, bass cut), bottom mini switch - three position, active with treble boost, active, passive. Finish is cherryburst and is a real eye catcher. I've just noticed that I haven't taken a pic of the case. It is a custom G&L also in very good condition and is included in the sale. I want £500 for this very nice bass, and I'm not interested in trades or offers thankyou. I live in Bournemouth, but will travel a reasonable distance to deliver, or you can arrange collection by courier at your cost. Please message me if you want any more info. Thanks for looking
4. Hi from another Bournemouth bass player. I've already placed an introduction on another "hi from Dorset stream". Good here innit? Graham (Souled Out South).
5.
Sounds like you have some nice basses Shame none of them have 4 strings. Do put them on the For Sale forum though i would say there are a lot of high end 5 stringers on there at the moment. Good luck Jerry
Thanks for the advice. The Pedulla has gone, along with an Ampeg 4x10, unfortunately got persuaded to purchase another Reverend - oh dear. Graham
6. This is now sold pending the usual, being sold on Tuesday 6th. Graham
7. Thanks for the compliments. Only selling as I desperately need space, another three or four to go!
8. Good luck with a sale from a fellow Brubaker owner - awesome basses!
9. Hi, just a couple more pics to show the lack of dings in the usual places. Cheers, Graham
10. Hi, I'm looking to sell this 2001 light gold/gold? Pedulla Rapture five string bass, fitted with a single Bartolini soapbar and Bartolini active electronics. I purchased it new from Mansons in Exeter and it comes with the optional Pedulla custom case, which cost £160 at the time! I'd say the condition is at least 9/10, if there are any marks, they are VERY minor and there is little or no buckle rash. It is very comfortable, well balanced and at just under 9lbs, feels light on the shoulder. The birds eye maple neck, with abalone dots, is a beauty and is 1.875mm at the nut, 2.75mm at the 22nd fret. It is 34" scale and has a single truss rod. Controls are master volume, treble, bass, mid cut switch. There is a demo from the Pedulla web site here:- http://www.pedulla.c..._rb4_johns.html I'm not looking for trades, in fact I'm trying to reduce my collection, and I'm not looking for offers thanks. I'm looking for a very sensible £750 for this little beauty. I'm in Bournemouth and don't mind a short drive to deliver, I'm not all that keen on sending nice basses by "Drop it, Hide it, Lose it", if you know what I mean! I've only sold an Ampeg cabinet, and purchased a bass on here, so I don't have much history, but check what I do have at:- http://basschat.co.u...for-graham1945/ Look forward to hearing from you. Graham
11. Dave, thanks for a very smooth and civilised sale. Purchased his Reverend Mercalli 5FM, now looking to buy his van!!!
12. Hi Mark Am in Bournemouth and have a very good condition 410 HLF for sale only (not trade). See earlier in this thread for pics and details. Two members have shown an interest so far, but still for sale at the moment. Graham
13. Hi Longtimefred, Couldn't have put it better myself! Have been using it on its own mostly, but I have a 410 HLE as well, and used together they are great - even though they are different ohm ratings. LOUD! Graham
14. Hi Wizbat, I have now, nice web site. Some sort of folk band? Er, or not? Graham
15. By the way Wizbat I see that Shire has an identical cabinet for sale a bit later in this thread. Your monster stack is here!! You'd probably be able to dry your hair as well with two of these! Graham
16. Sorry Wizbat, am not looking to trade as I have bought a pair of Ampeg Pro Neo 2x10 which is all I will use from now on. Would have thought it unlikely that you would get two 410 HLF cabinets from the same source? Good luck in your search. Graham
17. Hi, up for sale (due to advancing years) is my ever reliable Ampeg SVT 410HLF. Pic of the rear panel tells all, and shows that it is the tilt to push model, which makes the trek to the stage that much easier. If you're not familiar with it it has four 10" speakers, three ports, and one high frequency horn type speaker. The sound is great, and I'd say that the cabinet is in very good condition, I've always repaired tiny tears in the cabinet cloth as they occur, the front grille cloth is undamaged. Please ask any questions. I live in Bournemouth and due to the weight it will need to be collected, or we could meet up within fifty miles of Bournemouth. I'm looking for £325 for this classic piece of equipment. PS you'll note that this one was made in USA, not that it makes a lot of difference.
18. I haven't read all fifteen pages of this thread, but, for what it's worth, I've been using the Ampeg 2x10 ProNeo times two for a couple of months now, and couldn't be happier. At last Ampeg have used a metal grille front, and a textured coat cover. They are very light, and plenty powerful enough for me, stated to be 550 watts peak each. Don't quite understand why they decided to give them a monitor type wedge type cut out, but they do stack on top of each other fine. Also an Ampeg amp is about half an inch wider than the cabinets - work that one out! Lovely cabinets which have replaced my two 4x10 Ampegs, and saved my back. Graham
19.
Hi - i am another Bournemouth guy. What you selling mate? I have sold thru here before and bought too.
Hi again, The first three to go will be an old unlined fretless Stingray 5 in a honey type sunburst, an almost unmarked Pedulla Rapture 5, single Bartolini with a beatiful birds eye maple fretboard, in a sort of butterscotch finish, and a US G&L 2500 5 string, again almost unmarked, in a sort of red sunburst. Have yet to sort some photographs and prices out. Next in line MIGHT be an Alembic Orion 5 fretted in the usual flame maple, ebony fretboard, although I've taken a liking to this one all over again after getting some larger position dots fitted by Paul Strike. Great sound, but some buckling (which is pretty standard for this finish). I'm not desperate to sell any, but would like them to go to good homes, for sensible prices. Cheers for now. Graham
20. Hi, another Dorset member here, Graham from Bournemouth. Am on here to eventually sell a few basses, as my collection has got a bit out of hand! Any ideas on success rates? Cheers, Graham
