  1. Finally lost my senses, just bought another bass, so this must go. Final drop to £295.
  2. Never heard a bad word for The Gallery. I've had a couple of jobs done there, one of which was to fret a lined fretless Brubaker. I returned a week later to be told that it originally been fretted and the fretboard had been "levelled", so they had to remove all of the original levelled frets to put new in. No extra charge, and a superb job.
  3. No more price drops. Will hang on to it if it doesn't go this time around, and try to sell something else. This really is a good bass for the money, and in almost new condition.
  4. Paul is a great guy to deal with, don't be put off by the distance! Interesting looking bass and a great price.
  5. I have a five string version, these play and sound a dream. Have a complimentary bump!
  6. Ouch, I see these are now £399 at a UK retailer, so my PRICE DROPPED TO £320!
  7. Hi Jay Have you got any pics of the back, or details of any nicks, scratches or dents please? Any idea of the year of manufacture? Thanks, Graham
  8. Yup, still available. This bass is really "as new".
  9. Hi Jassbass. No problem. The lack of a hard case will mean copious bubble wrap (I do like to package bomb proof, see my feedback). Look forward to hearing from you. Graham
  10. Can't believe this is still here. Like mine it looks as though it is signed by Joe Naylor, which is usually worth a few quid extra. Good luck with the sale!
  11. Hi, I need to reduce the number of basses I have, so I have for sale only an almost immaculate Brubaker Brute single cut five string bass in "merlot" finish. I already have an old Brubaker NBS which I absolutely love, and wanted to see what their import range was like. This is made in the far east and re shipped back to the US for QC and set up. The build quality and finish is amazing for the price, the neck in particular comes close to the wonderfully smooth and easy to play standard Brubaker basses. This bass is pretty well unmarked. Weight is stated at 10.5 lbs, but I would say it might be half a pound more than that, so not the lightest. However, a decent strap eliminates this problem as it is very well balanced. Maple neck finished with a black satin finish. 34" scale, white side dots only. Rosewood fingerboard. 1.7" at the nut 19mm string spacing Brubaker's "bolt thru" neck joint (4 bolt) Pickups are are MM bridge, J neck. Bridge dual coil humbucking, neck single coil, both Brubaker designed. Volume, pick up blend, active treble, active bass controls, plus a coil tap switch. I've chosen to sell this bass not only to reduce the amount I have, but this is probably a bit "modern" for my 70 years!! No sound clips, but they exist on You Tube. I'm in Bournemouth if you want to try the bass. Would prefer a meet up rather than shipping thanks. Please check my feedback, link on my profile. Thanks for looking. Graham NOW REDUCED TO £320! NOW £295, I MUST BE MAD!!
  12. I have an NBS which I believe followed this model, but is very similar. Excellent, excellent basses, will give you any sound you want, and Kevin Brubaker's necks are an absolute dream. I even have a Chinese Brute, and the quality is even great on those as they return to the US for QC I believe. I thoroughly recommend this bass. Graham

Just sold a Peavey BX15BW to Mike, and despite me going on holiday during the sale, all went smoothly. Good communication from Mike and super fast with the money. Great guy to deal with. Don't be put off by delivering to the Tattoo Shop!!! 💉💉💉😀
  14. Yes Timmo, Near Riberac in the Dordogne, roll on summer. 😎
  15. Anyone interested in more "snaps" from the show can access them here:- https://www.facebook.com/graham.bowman.16/media_set?set=a.10205349805398137.1073741836.1038584556&type=3&uploaded=16 Hope it works! Enjoy! Graham
  16. Depends where you are Mike. It's quite heavy, which is why I've suggested a meet up somewhere along the south coast - I'm in Bournemouth. However, I sometimes visit London (dropped the matching one off there last Sunday). The specs put it at around 35 kilos for your info. Please let me know, one way or the other. Cheers Graham
  17. Larry is a newbie and bought a Peavey speaker cabinet from me. He kindly waited several weeks until I was visiting London, met me in the street and a satisfactory deal was concluded. Deal with confidence!
  18. The remaining cab is on the right and comes with Pvc cover. Rear plate is the second picture.
  19. Yup, just my third show, and really enjoyed the whole show. Spent a bit more time in the concert hall and master class room and saw Lee Rocker, Stu Hamm, Doug Wimbish and Ethan Farmer - Sunday. All entertaining, agreed, not displaying everyday bass playing, but showing just what can be done with a bass. Bought a strap, strings and equaliser from different stands, all stand staff very friendly and chatty. If I was at the other end of my playing career a GB bass would have been a definite purchase. Yes, it was noisy, but if you are in the market for high power amplification you need to hear that it'll do the job? Maybe Vanderkley were the ones to go a bit over the top? Sorry, didn't say hello to anyone, waaay too shy! 😀 See you next year. Graham
