1. THanks for the feedback - very generous! great meeting you and thanks for bringing a lovely bass with you
2. Hi, yep still for sale. Cheers, Darren
3. Anyone got a suitable usa precision to trade for this?
4. Good skills sir! :-)
5. Apologies, couldn't resist being childish. Looking forward to seeing the pics!
6. "Wont see for sale very often..." indeed!
7. Thanks for your recent posts. I think £500 is about right too. As fot trades I'd only really be interested in an American precision or a squire 5 string + cash. Cheers.
8. Final price drop £500.
9. Watch out for the road worn ones as the strings attached are undesirable
10. No worries I'm just not sure if I'm being a bit unrealistic on price and wondered what your opinion was. Cheers.
11.
I agree that sometimes people go daftly low on prices but then there's the flipside of some people really taking the mick and trying to sell there bass at a ridiculously high price in the 1st place
Do you think £550 is way off the mark? What would you value this bass at out of interest? At
12.
Are you interested in trades matey?
Potentially. My plan was to sell this bass and pick up a cheap 5 string (prob a squire VM 5er) for noodling around with + harvest some much needed spare cash. What did you have in mind?
13. Thanks for the advice, I'll try preloved etc. cheers!
14. Now on ebay. Over 1000 views and no real interest. Hope ebay land is more dynamic.
15. Price drop £500 bump
16. Bump
17. I'd be interested in taking a squier vintage modified 5 string plus cash for this if anyone would be interested in a trade?
18. Thanks Conan!
19. Yes 700 was a bit heavy. I payed 820 so at the time I thought 700 was reasonable - I was the only one who did though!
20. Hi, I’m not sure how heavy the bass is and don't have an easy way to measure (no scales!) but I don't consider it to be particularly heavy - certainly not as heavy as my MIA precision. The neck is nice and smooth - again I think the finish is much smoother than my 1996 precision. No neck dive problems to report. The neck is small for my hands and i've never really taken to playing it. I have a precision and an epiphone JC that I prefer the handfeel (real word?) of so this bass gets overlooked. Not very up on all the types of fender jazz basses so I don't really know what makes this bass 'special.' hopefully someone on here would be kind enough to elaborate this point. Thanks for the interest.
21. Yes best not to show I'm keen!
22. I thought there might be some interest in this bass at this price. Anyone?
23. Very little cosmetic wear on this bass due to little use. Bought new in 2011. It's fitted with TI flats and sounds very nice for it. I'm not looking for trades. I live in Manchester and would prefer local pickup. I can take more pictures if helpful. I tried to sell this bass on here before for £700 but not a sniff of interest. Hopefully I've weighted the asking price more appropriately this time.
24. I've been thinking about getting an extension cab for my promethean combo but I think they have stopped making the 1x10? I think I might get a 4ohm 2x10 as an either or. Or would a 1x12 extension be a good option? Thanks, Darren
25.
M Maybe it's because you don't play her enough? Only kidding, really nice bass, love the colour.
She's sat in her case for 8 of the last 16 years if i'm honest. Gets played a lot more recently though. I love the colour too. I remember the guy in the shop saying it was called electric blue. Not sure if he was making it up though.
