1. My 21st birthday present back in 1996. 16 years on, still sounds ace and still looks like new!
 2. Took her to a hotel eh ;-)
 3. I bought the bass in May 2011 (still have the receipt). The bass has been under used and as a result is in lovely condition. There is a little bit of rash on the back but nothing to speak of really and nothing that would show up in a photo. I bought my first bass, a MIA Fender Precision in 1995 and never played anything else until purchasing the Jazz. The Jazz was an attempt to try something different but I never really took to it and still default on the Precision. The bass cost £820 pounds and I’m looking for £700 + postage. I would be interested in a very specific trade involving an Ibanez Promethean P110C + cash to me. I live in Manchester and would prefer a local sale. You can have the case with the bass incidentally, the make is armadillo. Thanks for looking, Darren
 4. Provisionally sold
 5. For sale: Ideal practice amp for someone who likes to play around with different sounds. I've had the amp for around 12 months and it has largely spent time at my practice room. I have played through the amp around 10 times - each time with PA. It easily loud enough as an on stage monitor. The amp is in near mint condition with just a few scratches on the corner plastics and a small mark on the front metal grill. I bought the amp for around £400 (bit more i think) and I’m looking for £120. I live in Manchester and I’m interested in local pick-up only but would deliver to you within reason (i.e. greater Manchester). Please see below for a crappy phone picture of the amp in question and the info from line6. Thanks, Darren. It’ll give you all the warm lows and punchy highs you need
R&B: Inspired by* the ‘68 B-15 Flip Top, this model is a tribute to those late 60s and early 70s clean, fat bass tones. It is the kind of tone you hear on most Motown recordings, as played by a pioneering young bassist, James Jamerson.
Rock: This model is inspired by* a classic of the genre, the ’74 Ampeg® SVT®, which has appeared on innumerable recordings and arena stages worldwide. Now, all the tone of the head and 300-pound behemoth 8x10 cab is available without having to lookup a chiropractor.
Brit: Based on a ’68 Marshall® Super Bass, this model delivers the kind of overdriven bass sounds brought to us by late ‘60s British rock pioneers like Cream and The Who.
Grind: As the name would suggest, this is for modern rock lovers—Alice in Chains to Mudvayne and Rage Against The Machine. Based on* a distorted SansAmp PSA-1 into an SVT® with a direct clean bass signal mixed in, this model gives you that angry, clear and punchy aggression that cuts through the mix and takes your sound to DEFCON 1.
Effects Models:

Compressor: This pro LA-2A®-style compressor is ideal for every bass player and particularly useful for the ones who play with their fingers—achieve a smooth and consistent signal at any volume.
Envelope filter: Based on* a Q-Tron, this is the baddest envelope filter on the planet. This effect can be heard on tons of major funk and rock tunes.
Octaver: Based on* the EBS® OctaBass®, this effect produces a single note one octave below the note you’re playing to add a powerful new vibe to your sound.
Chorus: Based on* the much loved T.C. Electronic® Chorus. This is the most transparent, smooth and expressive chorus ever built for bass—and using it won’t reduce your low end. It’s especially beautiful with fretless basses.
Synth: Sitting at the back of the model knob is this secret weapon that turns LowDown into a ’70s classic bass synth. From funk to modern rock, this fully adjustable synth delivers incredible tones while tracking every dynamic move you make! 8. Had a bit of casual interest via messages for this bass but nothing solid. Will take 180 earth pounds for a quick sale which is a bargain.
 9. Hi Jon, Sorry for the breach of house rules! Shame you don't prefer the natural. For a quick sale i would take no less than £200. Brand new ones are £280. I've added some pictures taken with my mobile phone and a representative bass can be seen at www.probass.co.uk. The chap who sells them also has an audio link on his website so you can hear the range of tones these basses produce. Once again local pickup preferred. Cheers, Darren
 10. I'm selling my retrovibe rv4 bass guitar. The bass was purchsed from www.probass.co.uk around one month ago. The colour is natural. This bass is obviously in good condition as it is practically brand new. There are a few scratches on the bridge but apart from that the bass looks and plays perfect. I'm selling the bass as I can't get used to the slightly shorter and more shallow neck as compared to my fender precision. You will be impressed with how this bass sounds. Sensible offers considered. Local pickup prefered (Manchester area). Thanks Darren
