Answering you here =) Would definitely trade for your Hofner...I love those basses. Had a chance to play a contemporary lately...god i fell in love! if you dont have a hardcase, just snuggle it up in a (cheap) blanket and put it into a carton. Works excellent! Loose the strings too, so nothign will happen to the bass.
