Hi There! I´m selling my Yamaha BB300. It has been professionally modified by the previous owner and is an awesome bass now. here is the whole story about the bass: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...=0#entry1146594 The maple neck also has a super beautiful grain, a bit "birdseye"-like. the p-pickup is reversed as you can see in the pics, and the E/A section is in the original spot where Leo put it in his days the D/G section is closer to the neck (which sound absolutely great!), because it would have crossed with the MM-pickup. the MM pickup is in the original "sweetspot" too. it has an active "NOLL" 2band eq (awesome german manufactor) and a push/pull Volume knob. there are two 3-position switches. the first one selects the pickups (neck only, neck and bridge, bridge only) the second one selects the mode of the MM-humbucker (parallel, singlecoil, series) with this switching you get 7 different sounds, which are all very usefull! here is a list of modifications: -replaced the old tuners with SANDBERG tuners. -replaced the bridge with a SANDBERG bridge. -put the original yamaha P-pickup in new shells -put a DELANO MM ALNICO humbucker in it (MC4) -added a NOLL EQ (treble and bass) -the input jack moved to the side -a batterycompartment was installed -added a hipshot stringtree -made a custom shaped pickguard (inspired by the stingray 5) -routing, shielding etc. Hit hurts me to sell this one, but I have a massive Pink Paisley GAS at the moment. Looking for around 400,- pounds.
Bloody hell Dan....how weird's that!! I feel like a bit of a curse on you! What is with cars at the moment. They're costing us bass players an awful lot of basses.
On the other hand it gives other bass players the heart-glasses. But its always sad when such stuff happens =/ Poor basses are like children
I've put feelers on here many times before along with everyone else, I'm just trying to find out how much the basschatters think it's worth before putting it up for sale.
Depending on the Squier...is it a VM, a CV, an Affinityy...etc. If its signed or no is just interesting for fans and collectors =) Andif its an Affinity..I still would offer you 100 buck+ postage and give you a big mental hug =D
Hey folks, this is just a feeler out of interest. A couple of years ago I won the bass through play.com so have the emails from them and the chap from Atticus uk who I was in contact this to prove I've not just signed it myself. The bass is a Squire pbass in black with the signature of Mark+44 on the upper body. It's something I would love to keep onto as in my opinion it's a good collectors piece in years to come but with a mortgage and wedding to pay for I'm interested to see if there would be an interest in it. I'm not expecting £1000s or even £100s so let me know what you think it's worth?
I'm a f*cking big Mark Hoppus fan..so tell me what you do expect? Would love you if you give it to me (would offer you 100€+ whatever postage is) for now
