Hey fellow B'Chats My little acoustic trio is calling it a day so I have decided to move this bass on to help fund my ever growing list of studio equipment. It is a Yamaha Bex 4 I had shipped over from Germany last year in I would say a tobacco sunburst finish? I haven't seen any around in this finish before. It also includes a fitted hard case and the original yamaha label hanger. It has a few knocks and marks but nothing major and certainly not anything that affects the playability. The electrics are all clean and functioning and it sounds big and lovely. Being able to blend between the acoustic piezo and the magnetic pickup is really nice and a great way to add some acoustic thump to the electric tone. The original owner did snap the preamp housing and then super glue it straight on to the guitar body. I have since replaced the housing with an official Yamaha part and tried my best to remove the glue but there are still a few signs of this bodge job. Again, nothing that affects the guitar in anyway. I would like £250 collected with a hot beverage and biscuits provided FOC. Or £275 including courier delivery Cheers More Pictures Here is a video of the previous owner playing it on German TV

Hey BC I've decided to part with my lovely Fender Mexican Jazz five string to help fund some studio kit as I've only ever gigged it twice. It is in the gorgeous midnight wine finish and evens appears to have some birdseye maple going on on the neck. It is in fantastic condition bar a minor scuff on the back of the lower horn and a small mark on the back of the tummy contour. When I bought it it still had the protective film on the pickguard and the previous owner had hardly played it. A fantastic example of the mexican series. I have just recently paid to have it re-strung with D'addario EXL 45 - 130 and setup by Leicester guitar tech Howard Smith so it plays beautifully. Also comes with a Gator hard case which is missing the internal lid strap but does have the keys. I'll even throw in the matching Levys strap. Putting a value of £350 on the bass plus the case, strings, setup etc I am looking for: £400 inc 24 hour courier delivery or will meet within reasonable distance. I have bought and sold with a number of people on here and have an excellent feedback thread Payment by bank transfer, PayPal Gift or cash on collection/meet up please

I swapped out the Groove Tubes 12AX7 that was in my LH500 head when I bought it for a JJ ECC803s which loads of forums suggested. I was surprissed at how much I noticed the difference. The head lost all the brittle top end and rounded out and balanced the low end, great purchase for only a tenner.

Ha! I've got a lovely Hartke/GK stack that I gig weekly with so the Peavey amp was neither here nor there in the deal for me. But who knows, a dinky little amp may come in handy now and then.
Why not just cut off the euro plug and put a normal British 13a one on.
+1 We bought six of these lights earlier in the year for the wedding band I'm in and just replaced the plugs.

I had a set of JX pickups for my 4 string squier jazz with the standard boxed controls and had to have a battery compartment routed as there was no space in the control cavity. I've just picked up a Mexican Jazz V that I have been after for ages with the intention of modding. I wanted to put a J5 in the neck and a 40TWX at the bridge and fit a twin battery compartment in the back and a BQC system. But now I'm thinking of just sticking with a set of J5s and the BCS system but still with a battery compartment. Keep us posted with what you go for in the end, I'd love to know.
