The relic look on this bass is all natural which adds to the time period feel. The neck dates 23rd Jan 1983 the pots date 1982, body date unclear. Tis the way to go I feel. We use X18 and P16 personal monitors; players have choice of iem's or floor wedge. Also using a RCF light weight PA and M80 direct box, guitarist just uses his floor effects unit into PA. We are so lightweight and the quality is so good, can't see us returning to the good bad old days!

I don't use back line these days but go from my bass to a MXR M80 DI box and then go to the PA and monitoring system post EQ. I think the important thing is once you've set the sound you need to keep it the same, ie not adjusting gain or EQ, which works for me.
