  1. The serial number is stamped on the bridge-also the previous owner told me 😊 Thank you, it’s really nice, I just prefer 4 strings…
  2. It’s an EBMM neck, presumably from another bass-it was like this when I got it 😊
  3. 1996 with non original neck. Great fretless, lovely "mwah", currently strung with rounds, the board is good though as it's had chromes on most of the time. Has the very useful 3 way switch which gives you series/single coil/parallel pickup options. Would prefer collection, can meet up in Dorset/Devon/Somerset. Otherwise can be boxed if you arrange a courier. Cheers, Simon
  4. Serial #E05729 ManufacturedNovember 19th, 1998 ModelBASS 5-STR RED TRN MAPLE Great bass, really punchy. Has the very useful 3 way switch which gives you series/single coil/parallel pickup options. Would prefer collection, can meet up in Dorset/Devon/Somerset. 5. Thank you 😊 It’s a 10lber (bathroom scales method)

  7. Thank you for the nice comments you guys 😊 The neck is an original Music Man with a bit of the ol’ birdseye pattern 😊

  11. A rather lovely, virtually unused, Ashdown CTM-30-Tweed Head. Price drop, now £400 I bought this in 2021 for a run of 40+ gigs in a boogie woogie/blues band along with a 50s P-bass, strung with flats. It transpired that all the gigs had backline supplied 🙄 So, apart from the occasional plugging in at home to marvel at the beautiful warmth of sound and quite extraordinary volume with the Deep 15 cab, it's pretty much as new. Collection only.
  12. Cheers Ricky… I know, it’s a steal really. I have had to stop myself playing it, the neck is sublime. Overall it’s very reminiscent of the JV Squier I had in 1984, which is partly why I bought it. A friend of mine has one with flats on and it punches through wonderfully.
  13. Yes indeed, I am selling both. However, I have another precision and another jazz… Sadly, I need to sell, rather than trade.
  14. Fender Classic 60s Jazz Bass Olympic White Really good condition, great bass, however I don't need it. This is a polyester (boo) finish, with a rosewood board (yay)-according to Fender. Pics are from website I originally bought it from. Can bubble wrap/box if you arrange a courier, otherwise come visit the wonderful county of Dorset... Cheers, Simon

  15. Hello, Fender Vintera 50s Precision Bass Dakota Red Maple Fingerboard. I bought this from guitarguitar as a back up bass, the pictures are from their website, it still looks the same. It's virtually unused, obviously, I have actually played it, but never gigged...Comes with the Fender gig bag. I can bubble wrap/box it etc;-if you sort out a courier to collect. Otherwise, treat yourself to a day out down in Dorset, it's nice! Cheers, Simon
  16. Have just bought a fabulous GK 200MB combo from Pete. It's bang on as described, nice! Plus, he's a top bloke! Easy, straightforward, a great BassChatter! Cheers!
  17. Yeah. Wayne rocks! A superb, painless transaction, delivered promptly, packed properly. Brilliant bass (thanks dude!) EXACTLY as described. Thank you, Simon
