1.
...and he has a Recurve 5er too
Yes yes, he's going to check his band diary cos he thinks they're over this way in the next few weeks so I can go and have a play! Top chap!!
 2.
Bassbunny is in Manchester if that helps he might be worth getting in touch with. Alan
Thanks Alan, I've pm'd him
 3. I'm thinking about developing a bass spec and really like the look of the ACG Recurve 5, I have never met one though and wondered if anyone in/near Sheffield has one that I could meet and try?
 4.
Thanks for the kind words. It is not me who is ill but I need to see how the current situation pans out before committing to further order both for my sake and the customer. I hope to have a better idea of when new orders will be on the cards again by the end of July. However as stated on the website I am more than happy to talk about new builds and put together quotes. Alan.
Alan, Hope all gets sorted very soon for you!
 5. Thanks all for your input and shared wisdom! I do really like the look of the ACG which is a definate starting point, I'm in no position to place an order anytime soon but am beginning to formulate ideas about what I'd like... The Letts basses look really nicely done but somehow don't cause that flicker of desire in me I did try a Sei in the gallery and thought it lovely furniture but not really my cup of tea... Does anyone around Sheffield have a Shuker thru Neck Deluxe + 5 or an ACG Recurve 5 that I could try?
 6. I'm beginning to seriously consider having a bass built for me by a UK builder, I really like the look (and sound) of some of the custom jobbies that I've seen around here, I like Shuker and I love the look of ACG, I could get much the same sort of thing from either but it's difficult to know who to approach if you've never met any of their work in person... I daresay there are folks on here who've had experience of the build process; communications; build quality; playability; sound quality; value for money etc from each of the many UK builders out there...I've listed the 3 that came quickly to mind...my current favourite would be ACG but I've never met one so can only go on the pictures and enthusiasm folks have for them... opinions please...(removes lid from worms can and walks away...)

 11.
I have a Markbass one which velcros around your cab handle then around your bass/guitar neck (it doesn't vecro to you cab) - if that's what you mean... I always forget to take it with me though.
yeah that one, I haven't got one but I've seen them and thought they looked cool, not much use if they're always left at home though...back to square one on the op then!

 19. No I'm not an expert, I know just enough theory to muddle through most things, technique wise I'm adept enough to play everything I've been asked to play thus far and have been suitably euipped to learn anything new that has been thrown my way
 20.
what are you interested in for trades?
good question matey, nothing springs to mind, what have you? feel free to PM me any offers...
 21.
You know how good the Wren and Cuff gear is. I'm guessing it wont be around for long
Indeedy matey! Given how much one of these would be new from the Us, I'd say £90 shipped for yours is a cracking price matey! You look after your gear really well (having seen your other stuff)
