1. [s]For Sale my 2003 Stingray 5 in trans red, received recently on a trade and while she is very lovely and sounds exactly like a stingray5 should (lovely fat bottom with plenty of punch and loads of tones from the preamp and pickup selector) I prefer my 5 strings to be a little longer scale like my ACG Gallus 5 (which is 35" scale). If I had room for both she'd be staying as she's a superb example and plays & sounds great Her B string sounds loads better than the previous ray5 I had and also the G&L L2500 I had recently, much less flabby but just not quite as toit as the B on my ACG. From Ernie Ball customer service: "Thank you for playing Ernie Ball Music Man! Your StingRay 5 was completed on April 18th, 2003." Weight is 10lb dead. ain't she pretty Frets in spectacular condition, fingerboard clean and even back of neck unmarked and feeling satin smooth includes Ernie Ball strap buttons and straplocks her only issue is this chip straight through the finish but the wood underneath is inaffected Apart from the one very small chip (less than a 5p piece in length) she's in almost perfect condition. Bass is in Sheffield, price includes UK shipping.[/s]

  16. [s]For sale...my '77 Fender P, black (not a refin) with some sexy wear spots and rosewood fingerboard. Frets dressed recently by Jon Shuker and new bone nut added at same time. She plays lovely now ...the old nut was held together by cardboard Original wiring loom and pups included but not currently fitted (see pics below). Kiogon loom and Seymour Duncan SPB1 pup currently installed (original pup does work fine so you get 2 fully working pups here and the kiogon 'patented' solderless wiring means a quick switch too!). Original covers and thumbrest included. I've replaced all the scratchplate and pup screws but the originals are bagged and included Includes non-original (but looks exactly right) Fender branded G&G hardcase. Weight...measured using the tried and tested 'weigh self with and without bass' gives a very pleasant 8.4lb Currently wearing Labella flats (45-105). Bass is in Sheffield. Happy to consider part trades with cash my way, 4 string fretless, or a Gibson Thunderbird (burst or natural mahogany preferably)... 24.
Fretless Precisions always sound great. I had a bitsa once made from an '83 neck and a no-name body and really liked it. Lovely soft, articulate, expressful tone with a subtle mwah that you o my get from a P pup. I have no doubt that this one would sound even more lovely! I'd gladly have this one if funds allowed and I'd use it every day. A bass this gorgeous deserves to be used!
Thanks matey, if it had a j pup at the bridge it'd still be perfect as I love the feel of it and the tone from the p pup...I'd just like a bit more j with my p
