Status Eclipse 6 string, from 1994, wooden neck, Ash body, sunburst finish, excellent condition. Status hyperactive soapbars and 2 band EQ. Weight is 5kg, but doesn't feel that heavy on a strap. Sound is everything you'd expect from a Status, absolutely immense sounding. Comes with Status branded hiscox case. £900 ono, £25 p&p, or collection from witham welcome, or happy to meet halfway depending on location. As for trades, I would be interested in jazz or precision basses, or maybe a 5 string of some kind, although feel free to offer something else, you never know.

Got my paws on a Status Eclipse 6 string last week, from 1994 I believe, one of the wooden neck varieties. Needed new strings as it came with flats which didn't really suit it, and a fairly robust set up, don't think the truss rod had been adjusted for some years. Everything all settled down now and it is quite an amazing instrument, really good solid fundamental bass tone, fits in a variety of styles and situations, great B, and the option of going high if one feels the need. Heavy thing though, thank goodness for comfort straps!

Fender Jazz Bass 1980's Rare Korean Manufacture
GBH replied to eubassix's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
My late father had a fender badged telecaster made in Korea of a similar vintage, was closer to a squire rather than a Japan made fender. -
Epiphone thunderbird 60s bass, sunburst, very good condition, one small chip on the upper bout as per photo, plays and sounds nice. Gig bag included. Currently has a gibson logo on the truss rod cover, this is just a decal on black vinyl stuck to the truss cover, easy to remove if required. Price now includes P&P to mainland UK. Price Drop £350

Seem to recall it is Lee Sklar on bass on the hill street blues theme.

Think it is a LeFay Pangton, there was one reviewed in guitarist magazine around this time, and I think Malcolm Foster used a fretted one when he was in simple minds.

Had a gunmetal grey S4000, definitely one that got away.

Looks great, excellent work.

Many years ago I assembled this koa bodied warmoth gecko 6 string fretless, sadly it had to go when times were difficult. Would love to have it back if possible, anyone on here got it?

I've been known to assemble the odd bitsa, I have put fender decals on some of them, not to fool anyone, or myself, but purely for the visual aesthetics, the fender logo is iconic and for me finishes of the overall look of the instrument. If I sell any of them I make it very clear it is a bitsa.

Fender P/J, comprises of genuine Fender roadworn series precision neck, made in Mexico, complete with original vintage spec machine heads, and what I believe is a squire body, fitted with Seymour Duncan P pickup and DiMarzio jazz pickup. Plays and sounds fantastic, really authoritative pbass sound with the p pickup solo'd, add in the jazz for a well balanced and articulate sound. In very good condition, couple of small marks/ scratches commensurate with it being a used instrument. Lightweight, 3.92kg or 8.6lbs. Don't really want to sell but needs must etc. £475+ £30 P&P, bass ships in generic old school case.

Looks like it's an active bass judging by the amount of knobs on it, I prefer my soft furnishings passive.

I've got one of these, very light for an 8x10, approx 30kgs, neo drivers, lightweight poplar ply, sounds epic.
