1. Just measured my OLP Tony Levin signature... 64mm from middle of B string to middle of G string (I'm assuming to measure from the centre of strings) . That makes it 16mm spacing.
2. When you say did i have it engaged? Where's the switch?
3. ...and the one weird thing I noticed was for the same discernable tone and volume, the Markbass amp physically moves the cones further. Same volume, same eq settings, but the Genz achieved the same volume with me barely noticing the cones moving at all. The Markbass had the cones flapping like hell. Anyone explain this ??
4. Afternoon folks, Right, I've got a spare Eden D210XLT cab kicking about which I've had the brainwave of turning into a wedge monitor. Like the one Eden actually sell, the Eden D210MBX8. I'm assuming this might be a relatively straight forward job of just chopping into the cab ? Any help/guidance greatly received !
5. Should supply a pair of sunglasses http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/86-Warwick-Streamer-4-string/271221411101?_trksid=p2050601.m2451&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D266%26meid%3D1754952348837797123%26pid%3D100103%26prg%3D1141%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D331038180183%26clkid%3D1754954609107015875&_qi=RTM1489589
6. As far as I was aware, I don't own my Youtube videos anyway... Google does surely?
7. Anyone care to enlighten me ???? Ta ! Hi far0n, My name is Daz Neal and I am an Internet marketer. I really love your video and the response that it's generated with your viewers seems to be just fantastic. I would like to talk to you about a really easy way for you to earn some quick money All you would need to do is post a link in your video description box to a website of mine related to Bass Playing. It will only take a couple of seconds to do and I'm prepared to pay you well for doing it. If that sounds like something you might be interested in, just get back to me with a "yes" and we can discuss the really fun stuff like payment.... And how much. Look forward to hearing from you, Daz Neal
8. The rack is just a Kong DTR-1, Behringer composer pro and a feedback destroyer that is used for something else entirely!
9. Err, that's me with the Eden 210XLTs, ShuttleMax 9.2 amp and odd expression on my face :-D
10. I'm not a fan of the amps, but the cabs are fabulous. Had Eden cabs for donkeys, briefly tried other cabs and thought... "Woah...back to the Edens"
11. Got a reply from the Marshall page on Facebook..... Hey Faron. We're in the midst of getting Eden out to as many dealers as possible, but for the time being if there's a particular unit you know you want, you can go into any Marshall dealer and order one direct from them. For more info on Eden, we'd recommend you drop us an email to [email protected] and we'll ensure your query is passed onto our UK Eden department.
12.
The man that designed them was called David , too , but his last name wasn't Eden .
Vorderman........Mmmmmmmmmmm
13.
Eden is the maker, David is the product line, because they were competing with SWR's Goliath range. So they're Eden David cabs.
Just been reading a post on Talkbass about the whole issue and a lot of the Yanks are pretty scathing about recent Eden quality. Would be nice if the high-end products were made in the UK for the European market.
14.
Try Marshall, who`ve bought out Eden, they may be able to advise of UK stockists.
Have they now ? Interesting, I didn't know that ! I wonder if production is moving to the UK then ?
15. Was looking to get a couple of D210XSTs when I'm incredibly rich n stupid, so looked them up online and realised that virtually nobody keeps David Eden stuff. Of all the stuff I've tried, the cabs are the best I've heard. The 4 ohm 410XLT I had was an absolutely monster of a cab, shame it weighed 6 tonnes like. I noticed even Thomann seem to have stopped keeping Eden stuff apart from a few cheap bits.
