13. Picked up a fretless Washburn Status on the bay for £220 just before Christmas. They are great basses for the money. I've had 4 of them now...... One sold in November with busted electronics and a dodgy black respray for £275???
 14. He is a theiving, lowlife pr*ck! I bought a set of white EMG jazz pups from him for 70quid posted and he never bothered sending them. When I contacted ebay they told me to call his local police station as it was a fraud. No help from ebay and he also managed to palm me off with excuses until the deadline for a paypal claim had passed. Well I'd like to say there was a happy ending but he has my dosh and I will never buy anything from the States again. I did send him a goodsized paragraph of imaginative scottish abuse everyday for a month with lots of death threats and explicit details of what I was going to do to his mum! Dave
 15. Price drop. First £150 gets it and a christmas card. Price includes postage!

 17.
please note; previous, previous owner, i didn't screw anything to anywhere!!! Anyhow, i can vouch for this bass being a lovely piece before the much needed fretwork; it had been in storage for 13 or so years before i got it. Best of luck with the sale. Andy
Sorry Andy I meant to say A previous owner not the!! Thanks for the kind words but I think this one is going to spend another 13 years away from sunlight if I keep it! Great sound and plays really well but I just dont need it. Cheers. Dave
 18.
I'm selling my black Precision. It's an S9 serial number bass, which means it's from 1979 to 1981. This is a cracker of a bass, it's got the trademark Precision thump and feels just lovely in your hands, really solid and even and beautifully put together. It's black with a black scratchplate and a maple fingerboard. It's in smashing condition, no major dents or scrapes or anything. The neck is beautiful, straight and with no issues at all. The action goes lovely and low and the neck has that broad, flat, comforting feeling the good Precisions have. This is not the world's lightest bass. Like many Precisions of the era it's on the heavy side. I don't find it a problem, I rehearse with it for three hours at a time no problem and gig with it without an issue. But if you need a lightweigh bass, this isn't for you. The upside of that, though, is that it's got a great big thumping tone, it feels solid and plays beautifully and sounds superb. It's a wrench to sell this, but I've sprung for another one and this one has to shuffle out the door to make fiscal room for it. So there we are. It's in Glasgow, £950 plus shipping.
Looks in great nick for that era. The finish on the 79 I had was falling off down to the wood!! Change in laquer or something I was told. Scratchplate looks good aswell....has this been in an attic?? Nice bass...wish I could afford it!
 19. OK! Bought this to use as a back up but can't see me ever needing one so it will roll around my van waiting on a broken string that will never come (breaks a string at the next gig) It's in fair condition, broken pick up surround by previous owner trying to screw it to Australia for some reason. Otherwise it's intact. A few scratches but not bad for it's age. Please dont make post photos...we all know what they look like!! Wasn't great when I received it but thanks to my local magician/tech it has been revived at a cost of £110. Fret levelling and set up were essential and worth it for how it plays now so I'm asking £150 posted. Comes with Hohner gig bag. Trade wise, anything of similar value (fretless preffered but not essential) Dave Sold on fleabay for £135
 20.
£2000?....jog on!
21. The best £650 you'll ever spend!! Didn't know Sandberg did Maple boards as I'd never seen one even on the bloody website!! The photos of this bass made me feel sick! Anyway, they are great basses and I'd have this in a second if funds permitted. Have a bump on me Dave
 22.
Good shout either way! Wish I had £200 to go down with!
S'gone. I phoned today to see if they'd post and it was sold this morning! Bollox! If any bc'ers have a Washburn Status hanging around please get intouch!
