Selling my Ashdown 180 EB 15 due to lack of use, still sounds fine and although used - VU meter light comes on but does little else & wear to handle at top - still in decent condition looks wise. Old version with mesh on the front rather than the black grill, carpet instead of tolex. To be collected from myself in Staffordshire or can arrange pick up from Staffs or West Midlands, with a slight increase for petrol if needed. Pics can be supplied if requested. £45. Thanks.

Live in Staffordshire but can arranage for collection / delivery also in North Staffs & West Midlands. See the link for details, a great little unit and a bargain! Hello all... I have been offered a rather splendid Squier precision, a 2005 version, at a great price. Anyone have one of these and how do they compare with the other Squire basses out there, like the affinity P -' s for instance. Any info greatly appreciated, as ever! Thanks.
Don't think you need to remove the PCB, should be able to get at the slots in the pots using the plastic tube thing that comes with the servisol.
Thanks for that - I can only get at two of them, from either side of the PCB. i don't think the pots have ever been looked at in terms of keeping them moving properly!

Hello all, I have inherited an older style Ashdown 180 EB and the pots are crackling. A friend suggested i get in with some servisol and having remoed the amp from the cabinet, i am just wondering how to remove the PCB so i can get at the pots - may be elementary to most of you out there but i have led a charmed and sheltered life! Any help would be most appreciated.

Ashdown Five Fifteen 100w Combo - standard style
Hi Jonny, Thanks for your reply. I play currently in a band with a heavy drummer and two guitarists, who both have 100w amps and bells & whistles. I can still be heard but for me, im losing tone and i need to go to the next level with it. It has seen more action as just a plug in a practice amp and works great with that. Thanks again, Sean
Dropping the price from £70 to £60 - an absolute bargain! -
i may be interested in this; just upgraded my ashdown mag600 to an ampeg svt-vr, its way too loud and massive to use as a practice amp in the bedroom! i know this five fifteen is 100w but just wondering how loud it actually gets... would still need a bit of headroom if you know what i mean. also can you put a few pics up? cheers Johnny
Hi Jonny, Thanks for your reply. Had this one up before, only selling as i need something with a bit more life in it. 100w Ashdown Five Fifteen bass combo, great condition and only been used once a week for the last 6 weeks or so. It's got the carpet style covering and looks and sounds brand new. Looking for £70 for it, can arrange to meet or whatever is convinient for anyone in Staffs or West Midlands. Pictures available on request - this is the standard version, not the one with the head & cab im afraid. Thanks, Sean
Good point made in the previous post - the addition of more speakers should be an improvement. Have to say though, a 100 watt combo for me isn`t enough for a live band, especially with 2 gtrs, unless purely as on-stage monitoring, with the actual sound going through FOH PA.
Thanks guys!
Hello fellow 5-15 user. Q1. What size of amp are the 2 guitarists using, and what cabinets? Balcro.
Hallo! One has a Fender Deluxe - not sure of the RMS, had a quick look around and couldn't see anything about an 80w?! - & the other a Line 6 Flextone 100w - 'but it's a loud 100' he keeps telling me! Its quite a small space to rehearse and i wondered if the quality of the Ampeg would show up a bit more. Chuck in a drummer and it seems im fighting to be heard or being heard with no tone at all.

Hello, I currently have an Ashdown five fifteen 100W- which i have been trying to offload in the marketplace ! - and until its gone, i'm having issues in rehearsal with two guitarists & a drummer - 'What do you mean turn down a little?', they say to me! I have been offered an Ampeg B100R and wondering if that would be a better option, don't really want to go above 100w for the room space we are in. Any advice? Thanks!
