I just bought a kit and pre-drilled enclosure from Musikding!

Good choice, a top notch compressor!

Without question its the Ashdown James Lomenzo Hyperdrive pedal. Been through some big money drive pedals but always come back to the J-Lo. Nothing else I've found does quite what it does. Never mind the fact it has a HUGE footprint, Ashdown's entirely useless VU meter and more controls than are strictly necessary - I keep threatening to sit down and build a compacted version for myself - it just sounds SO GOOD!

Feature list looks great. Aesthetically not so much. Not a cheap unit either!

I mean to see if the few pedals I have that are "set and forget" would fit under the riser

Time to get the tape measure out!

That's a very interesting little pedalboard... I wonder if there's enough space under the tier for "set and forget" pedals... Hmm... @Spoonman can you confirm?

Toss a coin. You'll find you've subconsciously made up your mind already depending on whether the result pleases you or not. If not, maybe neither of them are for you. If it were me I'd go maple because I have the rosewood P thing covered.

Think @Eldon Tyrell is on the money. It has solid maple wings so pre-Euro from my understanding.

Never been a fan of the vu in a pedal. Totally pointless...

Still prefer mine to all the Darkglass X variants I've owned and sold. Being an inveterate tinkerer I've long been planning on doing my own version in a smaller enclosure, 1590BB portrait max, preferably 125B/Boss sized. Just getting the time is the problem!

An amazing pedal, which would sell like hotcakes if it was reasonably sized and had "Darkglass" "any-name-other-than-Ashdown" plastered over it!

My current squeeze is the GCI N.E.W. Bass Overdrive. Basically a souped up, smoothed out version of the Boss ODB-3. I'm liking it greatly. So much so I'm thinking of a second one to have 2 different settings to switch between. But, it's a DIY job. You may be able to get somebody here to build one for you if you were interested.
