I believe the 15 is the speaker size not the amps wattage. So one with a 12" would be a Drophead 12. And a Drophead 30 would be H-U-G-E.

Nope, wattage..
And yes it's very tasty!

Any plans for a drophead 15 with 12" speaker?

...and as if by magic Ashdown are showing off a drophead 15 on their Facebook page today. 10" speaker though. Think I'll have myself one of those if the price isn't barmy...
Actually that's an exaggeration - every 5 string musicman. Both my '98 Stingray 5 and my Bongo 5 had the issue, but it may have been me being cack handed...
Would like to try an Enfield, but I can't help but wonder what the design would have looked like if Wal basses had never existed...
Every musicman I've ever played had the g string problem you mention.
I'm glad I got to scratch this particular itch with a Wal Mark 1 I owned for a few years. Thought the desire for one had returned recently, but thankfully it has subsided again - couldn't afford one now...
I gigged my lb30 through my tech soundsystems 4*12 once. Really efficient cab. Got pretty loud and sounded very VERY nice. Ended up DIing from the head as my mxr m80 died so had to drop my stage volume so the DI signal didn't clip the desk - still sounded very nice!

So, you were a rascal in a Rascal in your youth? ;-)

Let's say much fun was had and leave it at that...

So whats under the plug plate....is it still possible to fit a barrel socket?
[/quote]
Why on earth would you want to do that? Awful things...
Lovely bass that!
I'll hear nothing against the humble Bedford Rascal... A fine conveyance. And fits a single bed mattress in the back almost perfectly... (drifts off remembering his youth through rose tinted puffy clouds....)
Are you going to use the octave up? If not one of the boss oc2 clones will do the rest - the pearl circuit is virtually identical to the oc2 other than the octave up.
Love Laklands, have 2 myself and previously owned another 2 including a 55-01. Truely great instruments.
The burns isn't my style at all, but I'd be interested to hear one nonetheless.
