2. You know what they say... without pics it doesn't exist!
3. ...what are you replacing this with btw?
4. Agreed! Totally awesome! After looking at it in a state of undress (it, not me!) it only took me 5 minutes to fix that amp... wouldn't like to say what little was wrong with it. You might get annoyed! I've no need whatsoever for this amp, but it's just so cute and tiny! It's GAS is all...
5. Taking a deep breath and stepping away from the keyboard... don't need it, just want it, don't need it, just want it...
6.
Am I the only person left who isn't a fan of TC?! Dont get me wrong; lightweight, tough, loud (much like my beloved markbass) but they just sound like a hifi to me :s
Funny I've heard similar things said about Markbass before As usual everything on here should be taken with a pinch of salt - try before you buy, IMHO, YMMV, etc, etc...
7. Used is the way to go. You could buy a totally monstrous rig for £1k! You don't want to cart a monstrosity around (who does nowadays!) but what are your priorities? Size/weight/volume? Do you have transport or are you looking for a rig to cart around with you on the tube/bus? Easier to steer you on choices with this sort of info. You might consider this if buying new: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp...s/TCE_Rigs.html (Classic450 and 4x10 for £1099 - a little over budget but budgets are there to be bent a little!) I believe this exact rig was for sale here s/h for £900 last week.
8. My 'collection' has got a little out of hand of late so I thought a quick quote would be a good idea. £118 seems pretty good to me considering I managed to max out the quote engine (max £10,000 cover)...
9.
Thats just mean.. i'll give you lift.. might leave you at a service station on the way then get the cab for myself lol! was just looking at your 6x12, too big i think buddy, if you want to be rid of one of the aguilar cabs please gimme a shout, i'd even give you more than you paid on ebay, i just need a cab for the weekend lol
GS4x12 = 45"H x 23.25"W x 17"D Tech 6x12 = 43,3”H x 29”W x 16”D Not that much difference in size really!
10. These are fantastic basses. I think I've said it on here before, but the last time I tried one in a shop (GuitarGuitar in Glasgow) I A/Bed it with a Stingray (2 stingrays actually) at 3 (or more likely 4) times the price. There was no comparison. The ATK blew the 'ray out of the water in every respect... The bridge is a pretty chunky afair, so you're unlikely to improve performance with an aftermarket upgrade. Live with it I'd say. It's not like you look at it much when you're playing it!
11. I have the 4x12 version of this - it's a total beast so I don't know how you would decribe this!
12. Beautiful... and I have a Bongo HH that I'm not using much at the minute too... Hmm...
13. These are outstanding basses (and this would be my finish of choice). If I didn't already have one I'd be moving heaven and earth to afford this!
14.
Jazzes. Well it's got Jazz written on it. Like a Honda Jazz has.......
Quote of the week right there, and it's only Monday!
15.
The little Line 6 110 amp looks good for bedroom practice. Small, loud'ish if required as a back up amp with DI out and headphones out which is important. Some amp modelling as well if that's your thing.
+1 here too. Love mine. Great wee amp.
16.
The sound of the amps are great, but it's the bells and whistles that elevate it above much of what's out there.
My thoughts exactly
17. It's the Classic version he has for sale, not the RH450. Great if you're "set and forget" without all the bells and whistles of the rh450 (tuner/presets/foot controller).
18. Hartke VXL. Great pedal and nearly as cheap s/h as the BDI21 is new. Solid as a rock too. Maybe a little big, but fits my gig bag so is always in there just in case!
19. New forum rules mean you have to put a price on items you're selling mate.
20. OK, it's not getting used so £50 plus postage via paypal and I'm cutting my own throat...
21. Damn G - Didn't even know you had this! That's very purty. Wish I had some cash...
