Yes that eq will sound really nice on its won but get buried in the mix. Depending on the roles of the bass and guitar in the band it could work but the fact you`ve raised this post says it`s not, and adding more power or speakers will rumble the optics behind the bar to shattering point and really durge the sound out.
With low tuned guitars the OP would probably better inverting that EQ setting (within reason! Nothing too extreme!).
The biggest mistake anyone in a band can make is to EQ solo, because you'll only sound good solo.

Sorry, valve amps
Do you mean a hybrid amp? Valve pre, mosfet power?
Ashdown ABM would be my first thought, but I wouldn't disregard class d amps too quickly or you miss out on the glory that is the Orange Terror Bass.

Tube amps? Was that an autocorrect?

There's the GR Pure 800 if that's any use?

If I were you I'd be looking at pushing the budget slightly and getting the Nordstrand Acinonyx. They sound phenomenal in every clip I've heard.

Did Burman ever do a dedicated bass amp head?
They did, the Burman Pro 4000, but I've never seen one in the flesh.

I have a quite lovely Burman Powerpak 100 with separate mixer that has yet to see any serious action... I wait with baited breath...

It will but you already have a tube preamp in the terror. Why add another? There are plenty of other options out there for tone shaping that don't have the... idiosyncrasies of the Le Bass.

Absolute bargain, if only you were in Scotland.
Or Northern Ireland...

It'll likely be the same setup as the GK 1200 heads - 1200 watts at 2 ohms, 800 at 4 ohms, 400 at 8 ohms. Probably the same amp module.

Looks like a single band parametric EQ with switchable gain stages. Don't really see anything exciting about it to be honest. Looks like a problem fixer of a pedal. Probably replaces the EWS BMC in MR's rig...
I do like Michael Rhodes' Xotic effects videos on youtube. Talks so much sense...

Ah, the old being paid in exposure nonsense...

Tech21 Bass Driver DI
Darkglass B3K
Mutron III
Big Muff (if you counted all the derivatives/clones this'd be up there with the Tech21 for sales!)

Ok thanks, Seems like to key is to be logged in as It doesn’t show when not… cheers!
Yeah it doesn't know anything about you if you're not logged in - if you are it knows what libraries you have (what ones are registered through NI Access) and whether you qualify.

Where?
From Native Instruments. If you already have Native Access, Kontakt Player and a qualifying library, log into the NI website, find Kontakt, hit buy and select crossgrade. There's 50% off.

Maybe not the right place for this, but the full version of Kontakt can be had at the minute for £112 via a crossgrade from a qualifying free Kontakt Player library...

Lovely rig... Too far away alas... And a little shy of funds following recent spendage...
