I/we just received an Oly White CV Mustang the other day, brand new, and I'm very, VERY impressed with it. I bought it for myself under the pretence that my 8 year old son needed it as he was taking up bass... Now he has nicked it... Little git... Got to put a good word in for DV247. Cheapest I could find and came to Northern Ireland from Germany in 3 days. It could end up costing me a clean fortune though. It's already has me contacting Alan at ACG about a short scale neck for my Recurve 5, and that has moved on to a possible scratch build short scale 5. We'll see when the furlough has passed...

I wish these were available now... The eldest is taking up bass. Would make choosing a bass for him much easier!

Has anybody had a chance to get their hands on one of these yet? What's the verdict? My eldest (8, but a big 8, wears age 14 clothes) is struggling with my selection of full scale basses and he doesn't like the look of the 2 Ibanez short scale offerings... That's my excuse to buy one of these for myself!

Ibanez 28" scale 6, Ibanez fan fret 7, GOC Materia 8 headless fan fret... can't play any of them...

Didn't apple just recently release a bass amp sound pack for GB? I'd go direct and play with sounds internally myself.

I see Harley Benton have entered the fray at the budget end of things with an frfr 1x12 for guitar. Looks like a repurposed PS cab they already have in their line but with different firmware for guitar cab presets. Has anyone tried any of the HB stuff for frfr for bass?

Wish I could make it to this. I visit guitarguitar in Glasgow any time I'm in the city. Great bass department. Brilliant range instruments. I've nearly parted with serious coin on my last 2 visits (Fender Original 50's series P bass and Dingwall NG3 Darkglass edition)... I did part with serious coin the visit before (Darkglass 900v1)...

While interesting it's in the "not an f'ing chance" price bracket for me for a single pedal I'm afraid.
