The clearout continues... A curious one this. I bought this little beauty from eBay where it was listed as a Warmoth Gecko put together by Valley and Blues of Toulouse in the 90s. I'm not convinced that Warmoth were involved in any way as the body shape and neck construction don't match any gecko I've ever seen (although I don't admit to being an expert on anything Warmoth!). What it is though, is a really high quality bass for the money. Bartolini USA pickups and preamp, high quality headless hardware (looks like ABM - I've seen the same bridge on Sei basses, big money items!). I believe from the headpiece shape that it can handle both standard and double ball strings. Maple and mahogany(?) neck with an ebony fretboard. The body is 3 pieces of what I can only assume is ash with 2 stringers of mahogany (again, only a guess). 34" scale, 17.5mm spacing at the bridge, although there's some adjustment in that if required. There are a few little scrapes on the back and front of the body and some buckle rash. On the back of the neck the finish has seeped into the center stringer and left what looks like little finish voids, but I don't feel them when playing it. Neck is otherwise perfect. Someone has given up on the original rear strap button and installed another just next door... It feels great to play, balances really nicely, I'll confirm weight over the weekend but my calibrated arm leads me to believe it's in the 9lb region (now confirmed by my digital luggage scales! 8.8lbs/4kg). Sounds nice and punchy and better than the price would lead you to believe. Gigbag included. The more I play it the more I like it so take it away before I change my mind... Courier is fine at your expense.

Heavy heart this one. Bought around this time last year as I was in another wavering back and forward between 4 and 5 string phase. But the time has come to strip my gear right back to the bare bones and, as much as I love this bass, the ACG Recurve 5 I have just pips it at the post and was made to my specs. Alder body, ash top, full wenge neck, gotoh tuners, ACG filter pre with passive tone and battery indicator. Does a rather splendid Justin Chancellor impression if that's your thing, but can do pretty much everything besides! Bass was serviced by Alan Cringean before I took ownership of it. There are a few few little marks along the top edge of the fretboard that are difficult to photograph, otherwise it is in perfect shape. £900 including hiscox case. Courier no problem at your cost. **EDIT: As I'm on the clear out journey I'm not accepting trades on this one.**

While not a fan of much they've done since, I think BSSM is one of the best bass albums ever. Was never really a Nirvana fan and Soundgarden just kind of passed me by... -
Time to thin out the collection I'm afraid. This is probably one of my favourite pedals, but I've just spent a small fortune on plugins and an audio interface and the band is turning into a studio based project by the look of things so Neural DSP's Parallax has me covered for the territory this pedal gets me into. Don't be put off by the Kings X/Pinnick tones available (which aren't really my thing but do sound good), this is SO much more flexible. It's slightly gritty punch in a box, great compressor (and I HATE compressors!) and a tuner thrown in. Really reactive to picking dynamics and passive tone controls. My primary use was to get something approaching my tone of choice from rehearsal room rigs and I've used it with half a dozen different setups in various rehearsal rooms and it's delivered every time, even in the most questionable of circumstances!!! With original tin, sticker, instructions and wall wart. UK shipping included.

The time has come to significantly thin the herd so up first is my Exotic Mahogany Kala U Bass. Model with the shadow pickup and preamp. Currently strung with Aquila Thunderguts, which are the best aftermarket strings I've found for this particular bass. I'm including the original black tube pahoehoe strings, a set of Pyramid roundwounds and, of course, the original form fitting semi-rigid case. Courier is fine at your expense. Would be VERY well packaged. Apologies, I'm the worst photographer on the planet...

No pics, but mine was a red Sunn Mustang (newer style, no scratchplate, Yamaha RBX-esque headstock) and a 30w Vantage fire-breathing-turd of an amp. The bass lasted a whole 10 weeks until I upgraded to an Aria MAB 20/5 (that I still own and love). The amp may have lasted another year until I bought a Torque 100w.

At 350 euro I would imagine so. I think if I was wielding the soldering iron I could do it for 1/10th of that... What is the little speaker cab by the way?
