25:17? Quality always sells. Marketed the right way these could be real earners...
  3. Oh, and as modelled by @wateroftyne, there's this:
  4. Ashdown CTM100 or Ampeg V4B.

Bought an Ampeg PF-50T from Brian. Amp arrived in swiftly and looks absolutely as new, still with the hang tag attached. Communications were top notch, all in all another great Basschat transaction! Wouldn't hesitate to deal with Brian again.
  6. I'll be controversial and say don't buy any of them...
  7. I think so, but nothing is selling at the minute it would seem! Having said that, I'll not be broken hearted if it stays...
  8. I've had this since November, but due to circumstances I haven't used it much. I intended to modify it, but never got around to it (real life really gets in the way!) so it's bog standard. A few scratches on the top and the base (see photos), otherwise as it came from the factory. Plush carry case included. Price includes shipping in the UK. I should point out that despite some blurb from Ashdown that would suggest otherwise, these are NOT "all tube", but a solid state preamp, MOSFET clipping section and a valve power amp. Having said that, I wouldn't be in a big hurry to part with it if I hadn't just bought an Ampeg PF-50T... Spec from Ashdown website: The Ashdown CTM-15 tube bass amplifier head is all about big valve tone in a tiny package that's perfect for recording but just bold enough for small gigs. Low power, big sound Plug in and lay down a few bass lines through the Ashdown CTM-15 tube amp, and you won't be the first to wonder "Wow, is that really only 15 watts?". CTM-15 delivers deceptively large tones from its dual EL84 power stage, and it's low wattage means its easier to get red-blooded overdrive by driving it hard – all without shaking the foundations. Whether the session needs big fat clean tones or growling, overdriven bass, the CTM-15 has you covered. Find the sweet spot fast with the VU meter display Like all similarly equipped Ashdown's, the CTM-15's analogue VU meter isn't just there for show. Giving an instant accurate display of your power amp's output the CTM-15's VU meter let's you quickly find your amps sweet spot – where the magic really happens. Ready to rock With 4 and 8 ohm speaker outputs, the CTM-15 is ready to plug into your bass cab and rock. The CTM-15 also comes with a custom fit gig bag, making it easy to transport safely to every session
  9. There was an LB212 for sale in the classifieds on Friday. Pretty close.
  10. Well if you like your Finn, why not a Finn? EDIT: REALLY miss that bass, btw...
  11. Scam. Isle of Skye is the giveaway. Same guy has been doing this for a while...
  12. Wash your mouth out! We don't need that kind of negative talk here!
  13. Hi Quilly, I don't honestly remember where my LB30 went, but it was gone longer ago than that so yours didn't come from me I don't think. I'm not in a band at the minute so I'll not be much use to you I'm afraid! Technically there shouldn't be much difference between 50 watts and 100 watts, but I'm a firm believer in "better the devil you know...". I'm slightly jealous of your CTM100... I'll maybe give you a shout next time I'm visiting my brother in Kilkenny and we can compare/contrast heads!
  14. Labella do a flatwound set of bass vi strings... £50 though... The scale is fine. If you've ever played bass lines on a guitar it doesn't feel as odd as that... Edit: just realised you mean flatwounds and string through... Not well enough versed in flatwounds to know if they would work here or not.
  15. 30" Scale, and yes, through body only.
  16. Recently acquired, but really surplus to requirements as I have a Ibanez baritone guitar already. This guitar is easily 9.5/10. Other than a couple of tiny scores (pictured) that don't break the finish and a little forearm shining in the finish, it's indistinguishable from brand new. Currently strung with Labella strings, a set of Bass VI D'addario strings are included. Product page on Ibanez site: http://www.ibanez.com/products/eb_detail18.php?year=2018&area_id=3&cat_id=2&series_id=51&data_id=159&color=CL01 Trade-wise I'm looking for a 50's/60's spec P bass - classic 50's, Roadworn P or similar, Lakland Hollowbody, obviously with cash or other gear your way. Or try me.
  17. I've had my head turned by another, and this isn't getting any use at the minute so it's time for it to move to new premises... While a beautiful playing bass, this one definitely sits in the "well used" category! There are multiple dings all over the body (not as many scratches oddly - any there are would certainly polish out), what look like a few finish flaws on the front of the body (finish has sunk into the alder "knots", above and below the pickups) and there is some loss of finish around the rear strap button down to what looks like damage due to a drop/fall. There's also string wear to the pickup covers, wear to the tuning pegs and it could benefit from a fret dress. Also the neck lamination joints can be felt on the back of the neck (no structural issues at all) and the side dots are a TINY bit proud on the top of the neck. None of this damage/wear effects playability. The bass is still wearing the strings from the previous owner which aren't quite long enough (silks on the wrong side of the nut on the E string) but I'm including a set of Kalium low F tuning strings I bought from Dood earlier in the year (perfect for B tuning), and a set of custom ordered Newtone Diamond 4 string multi-scale strings I ordered when I felt like getting my Devin Townsend on and tuning GCGC (60 - 150, these may or may not be useful...) - both sets unused and still in original packaging. Comes with an excellent Dingwall branded Levy's gig bag and Dingwall toolkit. I've priced the bass low (as low or lower than any used Dingwall import basses I can recall) to take into account any work the new owner MAY wish to carry out, none of which is absolutely necessary. Trade-wise I'd be interested in a Fender Roadworn Precision (preferably sunburst), Classic 50's or other 50's/60's spec P basses, a Lakland Hollowbody, anything ACG with cash either way. *EDIT: Given condition of this bass I'll consider close offers from the off* *EDIT 2: Much better pictures added - these are much more representative of the colour of the bass*
