  1. They're certainly good for metal... Ahem... If you're not sure it'd sell surely it doesn't make sense to do the trade? You wouldn't want to be left with it! What would people think?!
  2. Love a bit of Human/Individual Thought Patterns-era Death!
  3. Wasn't this about 400 quid a month ago? And expensive at that!
  4. Knobs, man, knobs! Get your priorities right!
  5. Their performance was awesome... Right up until they played "More than words"...

Had 3 Brutalist Jr PCBs delivered the other day. Maybe get around to building one of them in 2020...

RS, farnell, rapid electronics, loads of ebay options.
  8. And to back up our learned colleague, I once watched the Dan Erlewine DVD where he covered fret levelling and wasn't on the hard stewmac sell. He used a builders level with double sided tape and standard sandpaper trimmed to rough width with a scalpel or stanley knife after sticking. The one sheet length wasn't long enough to cover the surface of the level so he just butted the trimmed off piece right up to the first bit, stuck it on and trimmed to the same width. Worked a treat.
  9. tonetech do 3 different grits but finest is 320 grit edit: assuming you mean self adhesive rolls here...
  10. I would put decent money on the Roland Cube 30 running rings round one of these at £75 used... I don't understand the need for the wireless bells and whistles, which can in no way justify that price. Can't comment on PJB stuff other than the Bighead and the PJB headphones, which are both outstanding!
  11. It would need to be brilliant! £336 for a 40 watt amp?
  12. I knew what one you meant, but still not seeing it. Closer to the Fender Rumble v3 heads IMO, or the Peavey Minimax... or something Markbass. But I think it's a stretch to say they've copied the look of anything else - there are only so many ways you can arrange that number of controls on a small surface area like that.
  13. I wonder what the thinking was behind that decision? Surely they don't see these as being the central part of a cheap "more me" IEM system? They're not the only such device to be configured this way. The rather awesome 3 Leaf Enabler was the same. I wonder what the current Darkglass Ultra offerings with cab sim and headphone out do? EDIT: Darkglass don't have an AUX in... genius...
  14. I will once again toot the horn for the Line 6 Studio 110... The Roland Cube 30 is also rather awesome!

    NickCarey

Bought a Hipshot Vintage bridge from Nick last week. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. Top banana!
  16. What? Maybe in the same way a Lada looks like a ferrari cos they've both got 4 wheels!
